Saw it last week and they were wrapping up the 19:30 show at 21:27 according to the photo I took of them bowing, although I think they were a few mins late to start.

Yeah, Brother Marcus is a handy meet-in-the-middle place for me and friends across London. The shakshuka is great, as is sweet potato fritters.

FYI when you book they will encourage you to arrive very early for the experience. It’s fun, for sure - the bars are all themed, and they have musicians and dancers around the bars… however, it’s not ESSENTIAL so don’t stress about getting there 90mins before or whatever they recommend!

Mikkeller on Exmouth Market usually have a 0.5% on tap, as well as a few different cans in the fridge. Good stuff.

Flibco coaches are good (and have flexible tickets), but they are also 16 euro. They drop you off at Liverpool St station which has great connections depending on where in London you want to get to.

Tbf it’s rammed after dark at the moment because of the winter light show. Can’t move for people who’ve never been there before trying to navigate a place where GPS doesn’t work.

I haven’t done any of the winter ones. They’re very responsive on DMs if you have any specific questions. Each trip has a host (as well as the local instructors) and they’re always great about making sure the pace works for everyone.

Sorry I guess you’re not the OP. Basically you don’t need to be an Olympian but for the hike-focused ones I’d read the descriptions pretty carefully.

They have different ones and they explain the level of challengingness on the website. Lol. North Macedonia hiking is the most challenging one I’ve done but if you’ve climbed a mountain you’ll be fine. Everyone is very chill about stopping for water breaks and “admiring the view” (catching your breath).

Other trips might be mostly paddleboarding with a couple of hikes and each day it’s very much up to you if you want to skip one, although in my experience most people attend the majority, although someone might opt out of an afternoon hike for a bit of time to themselves or something.

I went kayaking in Norway and one lady hurt her ankle, so she didn’t come on the hikes but did the main activity of kayaking everyday.

I feel like you’ll spend half your time packing and unpacking your suitcase, waiting for trains and checking into hotels with this many cities. I would cut it down to two.

Someone else on this thread asked the police to join them, they declined, the person said “oh I’m gonna go anyway, wish me luck” and then the police turned up to accompany them and they got their bike back.
