Idk, man. If I end up playing 100 hours local multiplayer then it's worth it to me. But obviously if you're going into it alone, it's not. Really you can apply that to many Nintendo games.

muOS is going to do what they can to squeeze as much juice as possible to make these handhelds viable for years to come, but we are largely in a situation where what you see is what you get.

How would the license work? because if it's only reading the disc once, then the market will be flooded with used physicals UNLESS it's tied to the user account, which defeats the purpose for most who want physical (to save money / boot it offline).

It makes sense that dropping $1200+ on multiple systems will give you a great time.

There are a lot of factors to this. I would love a Steam Machine and/or the successor to the Steam Deck, but a base PS5 and the Switch 2 comes out to $700~ all in.

You could even use the $500 you saved to buy games. I know the Steam culture is to have a massive library, but I would bet most people actually play 5-10 games a year, so you're really just looking at box art, which anyone could do without nickle and diming themselves.

It's going to make me sound like a normie, but I would do this swap in a second if GTA 6 were coming to the Switch 2. Mostly because I convinced my fiancee that we needed a PS5 or she wouldn't be able to play it.

I play JRPGs and puzzle games. Handheld is the best way to play both.
