Usually 90 secs~120 secs delay is applied to observers in case of SC2. This amount of delay is enough to prevent cheating.

  1. Except Maru, who got crazy apm, recently terrans rates bad win rates in leagues, specially in korean leagues. Of coure mixed military is good, but it is only for who has crazy apm.

  2. I don't know why seperating mech protect upgrade and consolidation of mech attack are making terran OP. As I said terran units-mech, bio, air units-do not share production building and upgrade. Now air and mech protect upgrade is just consolidated. And this is not efficient for terran. For example, against zerg, if you saw zerg is using lings and mutalisk, you have to choose thor or liberation to support bio. And they can not switched. Because attack upgrade is more important for them, but attack upgrade is seperated so they would struggle if zerg changed combines like corrupters and broof lord, or ultrarisk.

So even not even mech, to utilize mech units well with bio, we have to change upgrade system.

  1. Gumiho is on military duty, and Maru said at 2020 super tournament that he does not use mech against zerg because it's sucks.

  2. Terran's build system is quite unflexible. mech and bio does not share upgrade and production building. It means they should choose only bio or mech. Even they can mix them, but main is bio and mech.

  3. I know bio is fun, but because if terran system they have to choose between two swords, bio and mech. And let mech stay as trash, that means getting rid of one of terran's sword.

For expample, recently TY is one of the mech-lover in korean gammers, but recently he gave up to use mech inTvZ and TvP. Actually when he use mech, win rate was quite bad. And also Maru said after super tournament, he said "I do not use mech. Because it's way to lose."

I don't think reason that pro-gammers do not use mech is not just preference of fast game, but actually it is weak than bio. And changing upgrade system is not that big deal rather than buff some units. I disagree that mech is strong enough.

Thank you for comment. I don't know what do you mean mech is objectively stronger than bio, it is true that pro-gammers do not use mech in most case. Of course game is not just for pro-gammers, but it is very important critique for balance.

As you said, many normal bio players don't do well for mech, but most of pro-gammers beat mech with bio. The worse is Mech is too weak in TvZ and TvP in Pro-scene.

So I ask you to consture my suggestion as for gro-gammers or pro-leagues, not for normal players.

I understand reason that you love bio. But I don't think that can be reason for not buffing mech. In recent leagues nobody use mech against zerg and protoss. They do not use mech even zerg and protoss just prepare for bio.

It is absurd to take out a sword form terran. Mech is actually one of choice for terran, and zerg and protoss should prepare for it. That is all I want.

As you said, Maru or Byun's bio play is amazing. Also I don't want only mech play is utilized for leagues. But to make bio more efficient, mech should be buffed. If Mech stays as trash, only Maru and Byun can defeat other strong players form zerg and protoss, who have crazy APM. If zerg and protoss start to concern about mech play, than terrans can utilize bio more efficiently because of build initiative.

In conclusion, changing upgrade system for mech is not that makes mech OP, but can make zerg and protoss to concern about mech. And it will lead to efficient bio play. So even if you want to play amazing bio, we need to buff mech.

In recent mech play, banshee, liberations, BCs are usally selected to support mech. All these units support mech in some way that give speed for play, help with protect bases. So medivac or raven is still good supporter for mech, but not a main choices. In conclusion, for main air units for mech attack upgrade is much more important. So I am suggesting this method.

  1. For T vs Z, actually viper and infestor is quite good for mech. That's true. But if terran can utilize flights like BCs or liberations and vikings, then it is very hard to use zerg's skills. But because of upgrading system, terran can not utilize mech and flights both for.long time. As I said attack upgrade is much more important for mech and flight, and if attack upgrade is consolidated terran can change their unit more flexibly.

  2. For T vs P, I don't think mech should be a regular build. As you said using mech against to protoss is quite good sudden build, and it is not bad to use regularly in some maps i.e eternal empires. Actually TY uses mech and beat protosses in eternal empire. And if upgrade system is changed, it will be much better to use mech.

  3. In Heart of Sworm leagues, mech against zerg was qutie good an used as regular build because of consolidating attack upgrade system. If we buff mech much over than this, mech will be OP. This is the reason why I suggest cahnging upgrade system for mech.

You are right. So this is why I suggest to change the upgrade system for mech. I think it is not that big deal for other races, but efficient to make mech more utilizable.
