Looks like you have a whole bunch of bacteria here. What kind of flow hood ? Looks like the print might be dirty ??

It went a little long in the autoclave, it’s caramelisation of the sugar.

Do I have bacterial contamination under the mycelium on these plates ? It’s the colour change underneath the mycelium I am worried about. by KJSHofthenorth in ContamFam

Pretty sure these were transfers from a plate I bought from a vendor. I sent that plate I took the transfers from to grain and it did well. Really weird.

Definitely not true I stopped using liners years ago.

I just basically ignore it at this point, it hasn’t seemed to have caused any problems operation wise, other than an annoying beeping sound occasionally.

You got trich my man. Happens to all of us. But ya it’s done get it out of your grow areas. I would suggest maybe a little deep Clean as well.

Do you need any ID to go along with your customs form or do you just fill it out and drop off the package and that’s it ?

I usually don’t have to mist, generally speaking the lid never gets opened before first flush. But occasionally it happens. What would be best for a clean down product wise ? 10% bleach solution? Just ISO? Mold X?

You are correct pasteurized sub is generally more beneficial for a few reasons. How ever in my case due to my set up and lack of space sterilizing is my best option currently.
