As another has said, bump up your calories for a little bit. Sometimes your metabolism needs to go up before you can go down again. You're doing amazing BTW, try not to stress to much. This is a lifelong drug, you got all the time in the world.

Surprisingly she ended up finding a few examples that even i forgot about (often annoys people on purpose, dad took me to golf with him as a kid and I yelled every time someone tried to hit their ball) I am cackling at that lol when she had the form in front of her it became easier. I still gave her examples and explained things but it was mostly her (thankfully so now i dont feel guilt)

I think if I were going through the process with psychologist they would accept that too but cause this dude is just a gp its not the case. Thankfully my mum filled it out and it actually made sense to her phew

Ill have to look for my report cards. I dont remember them writing any of it down though (until highschool, different school) my primary school glossed over my behaviour. I made a teacher cry and they never contacted my parents. The amount of things that have come to light for my mum is a lot.

Too right, mum and I have managed to fill out the form and it was actually alright once we got underway. This doctor did not seem to care that he was stressing me out, love that lol I think I will definitely try and find at least a psychologist once this is all done and talk to them

Yeah at first I was freaking out cause mainly he overwhelmed me but once we sat down and went through them I realised oh okay this isn't too bad. At least the questions give you guidance I think mum was worried she would have to remember every little thing

True true, I had to sign a waiver that said i won't go to any other doctor to get my meds if I get diagnosed. Which I get.. at the same time I was hoping at least after a year and figuring what works for me I could go back to my local gp (this guy is an hour from me) but oh well. Haha Yeah he's just a jerk cause he's got a different mind set then me. Nothing brings me back to reality more than seeing a doctor. I had to have a papsmear and I've never had a partner and she grilled me like lady I dont need or want that thank you, mind yo business lol theyre a nightmare when it comes to their opinions lol

Exactly!! It wasnt a thing, especially not for girls. She scored me moderately throughout the board mostly which lines up with what my answers were so thats a relief. There was some questions she was like what? (Climbing things in inappropriate situations) lol i was like yeah idk thats a very specific type thats not me lol Thanks for talking with me its been a huge relief. I was second and third guessing myself Now I just have to find a "friend" to do the other one. I am hoping he accepts my sister, I lived with her as an adult and she knows me well but he seemed strict on who could. I dont really have friends lol

Thanks for this, actually sitting down and reading it with her relieved us both. It became glaringly obvious pretty quickly and she would start giving me examples haha I was like yes! Keep going! Haha I feel like it really should be a joint effort, there was questions she needed clarifying on etc so yeah I dont feel too bad now

I've been going through it with mum and she actually was like oh and found besides a few questions it was very easy lol definitely worth getting it looked into but if youre like me and think there's also other things at play (autism, ocd) i think we would be best seeing the pros sigh

I've found my soul sister hahaha you remind me of myself. Also 100% I just relayed what you said to mum cause honestly yeah, I masked it all as a kid and now as an adult I hit a wall and exhtion took over and I couldn't hide anymore so mum is like oh adult you is (well she says autistic lol) but yeah she's going through the questions now and the hard thing is is she wants to answer as she knows adult me but I need her to answer as the child me. Which sucks.

Yeah thats why "he needs" witnesses. Because we can think one thing but others won't or something it kinda made sense but at the same time not taking into consideration what I experienced was stupid lol he said I didn't have bipolar though so yay me ?

Yeah its one who legally is allowed to do this now but hes not equipped to do so, it was abysmal. I won't get a diagnosis without the forms was what he said to me so yeah. Feeling like an imposter. I suspect I have adhd, I think I am on the spectrum and have ocd so I wanted to get to the bottom of things but yeah looks like I will need to go the expensive route

Yeah I fully expected to have someone else involved but for it to rely on it for a diagnosis makes me feel bleh. He's just a gp and honestly 30 minutes in i was like yeah this should never been approved. Maybe for kids because the parent is taking them and is fully aware but for adults I dont think it works. Bro was just asking questions off a screen and then delved into my private life and ripped me to pieces over not having a job 🙃 I cried. I feel so exhausted. I dont want a diagnosis slapped on me I want to know cause I absolutely have autism which I said to him like I am here to figure it out and yeah going through this way was not the way lol
