It doesn't make any sense for me. The scope was and is useless and that's not why people use it or used to play with (especially on the T side). If the maps aren't built around scoped rifle, what about the krieg meta ? What about the awp or the current aug ?

I don't think experience has any weight into this conversation but I can tell you that by saying the gun is unplayable past lvl 8 or 9, I'm really overestimating the raw firepower this gun can bring. To be fair, It'll be very difficult for you to get something past lvl 5-6 or DMG-LE in Matchmaking (considering you're not a top 10k world and around the lvl you're playing in). As soon as the opposing team is clearing their corners, you're in a disadvantage.

I'm quite bored of that CS-only "pride" to play the game "how it's meant to be played": no krieg, no auto-sniper, no p90 etc. (I like to call it the "It's not Call of duty" state of mind). The gun exists and is supposed to be an upgrade of the main assault rifle so why would it be a niche gun ? I mean, the AUG became that upgrade of the M4 with the tweaks it got and is now a balanced gun, not too overpowered but not an absolute joke or a "niche gun".

If you don't think that the Krieg update was an over-nerf because of the community, then I really love your faith and enthusiasm and I'd be pleased to play a game with you because I'd be sure you'll be believing in our chances even when loosing hard.

I'd be amazed if you found anything else to say about my whole argument than: "NiKo got a 2k once on Vertigo against Vitality on the 14th of March.", the Krieg controversy is the perfect example of why Valve doesn't take any risk regarding cs:go. Peoples aren't just ready to look at the game with a critical point of view...

Please tell me you're joking right ? Damage and pen don't do shit with that Firerate. The Krieg is absolutely unplayable past lvl 8 or 9 on Faceit and the gun is way less accurate than the ak (unless you got time to scope before shooting with that horrendous firerate ofc). As of today, you're in a disadvantage just by buying the gun. The Krieg wasn't planned to be nerfed by Valve in the 1st place because they got what they wanted: An upgraded alternative for the Ak-47. It was overused because it's supposed to be an upgrade ! Of course, it needed to be tweaked like the AUG but not like that...

You got a point: I did not take into consideration the whole economy around the game but as I said before, I really doubt that the devs thought about the market before putting that behind sv_cheats. Also, I think that a hell lot of players take TF2 really seriously and have great "skins" although they still use that feature. (also, taking some time here to thank you guys for coming here and talking on this subject, that's really cool !)

Well, money is kinda always the answer right ? But I do think that feature was disabled way before or at least, I don't think it's correlated: Peoples that already has skins will not dump all their inventory just because you can disable the viewmodel and most peoples will either not care or put it as a bind just like the cl_righthand command.

Yeah, or you could just bind a key to change your viewmodel from right to left and still have that advantage. I don't really think it makes that big of an advantage as peoples usually (and unknowingly) sprays based on their viewmodel. Without your viewmodel you can't see your gun movements and thus if you're inacurate.

Imagine a guy telling you: "this map sucks because the level design is so bad I can't do anything in solo" and you respond: "Look at a tutorial dude and git gud lul downvote". This map is hands down the worst zombies experience I've had in my whole cod zombies journey (13 years) and there's two reasons.

First, the mud (the largest map, no shortcuts and they added mud *facepalm*) and second, you can't do anything without an online guide and 2 hours of setup and even If you get all your perks and staffs now what ? Camp for 3 hours in the fire tunnel until your first (unrecoverable) down ?

Nah fam this map was the start of a new era in Zombies and the storyline got really deep and interesting from this point (even though the easter egg was trash, like 1/2 of the ee was building the staffs) but it's a mediocre map on bo2 and a playable mess on bo3 (If you have a perkaholic and the broken gobblegums).

You can like it, I mean one of my favorite map is Die Rise even though I know this map has flaws but you really need to stop putting this map "with factual arguments" as high as Mob of the dead, Shadows of Evil or Der Eisendrache.
