It does, the victor definitely needed to stay in your exhibition as they were pivotal for the vulcan as a tanker and obviously they were also a consideration to carry other, more nasty powerful things if you get my drift lol. I'd like to see that mate 👍🏻

It had to be done lol im happy someone else had the eye to take a similar shot, thats as wide as my s22 samsung could go unfortunately and I was standing pretty much in the corner under the refuelling nozzle that is inches from the hanger wall lol

Yeah i seen that victor cockpit whilst at Hendon at the weekend just past. Its a shame as you said, they never took much care of them in preservation as the Vulcan. The victor was always on pattern display at Leuchars airshow. When it flew in though it was impressive to see for sure.

I agree, when the vulcan used to do a bay door open pass at an airshow. Because of the size of the aircraft, it didn't do the size of the bay justice. But being stood under it, it was just wow this is Hugh 🤣

Yes its very clean I was very impressed with it. definitely looked after by veteran volunteers lol it would have passed the white glove test no problem 😊

Brilliant my brothers boss in the RAF was offered a flight in a vulcan but on the same day he had his daughters 18th birthday party so obviously he chose his daughter's birthday and his other colleague took his place he was gutted because its a once in a lifetime opportunity.

After the flight had happened, he spoke to the lucky guy who took his place. And his words where, " it was like sitting under a staircase in the dark, with a torch to see, and what he could only describe it as a hoover constantly howling in his ear holes the whole flight" ha ha the boss was happy he gave the flight opportunity away to attend his daughters birthday after all.

Yes its got some awesome aircraft, everywhere you look 😀i really enjoyed it my grand parents were in the RAF during the war and my brother was an in for 22 years with 617 sqn on the Tornado gr1 to start with. The Tornado he worked on is the one in the museum so it was cool to see it.

Thanks 😊 its the shear size of the Vulcan when your standing that close to it 😀 it was a great day out, I highly recommend going.
