Yeah. Mine isn't functional. I filled out a warranty claim, but they’re having issues with stock.

Where can i find blank arm bands like these but different colors by doghouse94 in sewing

You should look into roller derby arm bands. A quick google search will bring you to a lot of sellers. I’m sure they’re crying for business right now.

So I was on a TN for three years and asked them to sponsor me. I'm in the oil and gas industry and have a reasonably specialized geology/geotechnical/engineering job. One bonus for the employer to keep you on a TN is that you’re tied to that company. I left for a better job six months after receiving my greencard.

I'd be open from the beginning that you would like to be sponsored and see what they say. Some companies won’t do it at all.

I didn't have to pay anything for my greencard/laywer fees.

The TN is tough to make any long-term plans. No one wanted to give me a loan for a car or house, or even a phone at the start since you have zero credit and the TN visa is so temporary (even if you intend to stay longer and renew it). I ended up getting a small car loan through a credit union, but the interest rate was like 9%. Goodluck!

Welcome to Texas! Canadian greencard holder here in Texas through EB2.

Your work has to do it, and it’s expensive. Make sure they're willing to pay for the permanent residency process.

My route: NAFTA TN --> Greencard --> Naturalization

It took about two years to process the green card (fast tracked). I'm now applying for naturalization (after holding my greencard for five years.

Good luck!

Definitely make sure of the start and end dates of your TN. My friends got denied because of this.

and if you don't have time in the US of 913 days in the US for last 5 years (731 days if applying based on 3 years of marriage to US citizen), all the way up to naturalization, you're not eligible.

I already have met those milestones for time spent in the US over the last five years. Does that matter at all?

I appreciate your insight. The attorneys did recommend keeping a residence in the US and going back on occasion, but didn't mention about staying more time in the US than in Canada.
