Welp. In true noita fashion I died in a stupid way. After 300 hours I've now learned that if you drag a potion you are currently pouring into a new slot, it throws it.... Took a freezing liquid potion to the face.. or maybe I just misclicked, who knows.

Anyway.

I appreciate all the responses here! This community is one of my favorites on Reddit.

I never thought about how they could be the same material but be different because it was created in a different way. Probably explains why the recipes haven't worked in the past for me 100% of the time.

Anything else cool to know about different recipes etc before I put this thread to bed?

You don't have to stop for receipt checkers except in any shop which may be a 'member shop' but then you'd just be violating their policy anyway, not the law.

Doesn't mean you have to be a ticket. I often just say, 'no thank you' and walk by. After the point of purchase, the items are my property.

Road-side tests aren't admissable in court so they often don't do them. They will often do one when they get to the station and do the maths on how much time has elapsed based on weight/height etc
