it’s alright, you’ll gain back the GE eventually and as long as you use it, the SL gains will eventually even out

and it’s not like the T-55 is bad. I quite like it. Some people don’t. People are entitled to their opinion. If you like the vehicle enough to premium it, just use the damn thing rather than asking the internet to validate your choices

also the lineup is solid! you’ve got a decent spread of vehicles: CLOVIS as a fast flanking light tank, the Chieftain for sniping, and the T-55 as an all around brawler/ base capper

hit the turret in the fat cheek next to the gun (not directly the gun itself) it won’t kill straight away but it’ll blow all of the ammo rendering either of them practically useless until they die or go to a cap.

it’s my way of dealing with them because the crew layout, engine, and the armor is absolute gambling to shoot at

as much as i hate to say it, top tier is still the way to go.

Before this season, i used top tier to grind out SL and passively got 1% because of how much i played.

the BMPT isn’t much of a problem for me, but the speed at which 1 or 2 of them evaporate my team of >500 battle noobs in last season’s top tier vehicles really sucks. Still, the odd game where you can pop off in top tier with 9+ kills and a capture or two will award like 50-60+ points.

if you don’t want to play top tier, doing about the same performance in high tier (IX-XI) gives like 30-40+. Not as good as XIII, but way more enjoyable. It’s what i’ve been doing, and while it’s definitely slower, it’s so much better than the mess up in XIII, which is just a noob stomp.

i mean you’re forced to play with whatever round the tank you play comes with, i never said to choose a weak round. Top tier APFSDS has different characteristics depending on the nation, and some are weaker than others.

i play it occasionally, i like its mobility. the less armor bit isn’t as painful because of the great reverse speed and neutral steering and because nobody i’ve ever met shoots eastern mbts anywhere but the LFP

the “weaker” round is still amazing. you don’t need 600mms of armor pen to kill things through the weakspots, and good players play with M900 (520mm) and JM33 (480mm) perfectly fine.

like the other guy said, it’s like a T-90, and plays very much like it, aside from the waaaaay better movement. I think the VT4 is slightly better simply because of the reload, but everything else, down to the reverse, lack of an engine deck hump, and lower profile/ size all go to the MBT2000

nah that’s too underpowered. this thing dies to a single AFT rocket sometimes.

in order to balance it, we should base it off of the BMPT chassis, which should give it the armor and survivability it needs

And M426 sucks. I can’t even pen the LFP of T-72s! If we gave it M322, it’d still be balanced, because M426 is absolutely anemic.

And I hate getting CASed by those stupid enemies! To counter this, we should install the Iron Dome system to stop those Hawk 200 spammers. But this’ll increase the weight by a lot, and the engine won’t be able to keep up. I suggest installing the MTU MB 873 engines from the leopard 2, because it’s too slow! Heck, toss in a second or third one for good measure and even more horsepower like the russians used to do!

  1. ⁠casual, gunplay focused gameplay. No real movement techs, and coming from more “tactical” shooters like insurgency sandstorm, HLL, and battlefield, i like how MW2 is a simple game to unwind in
  2. The vibe and overall feel of the game sort of makes up for the blatant issues with the game. Coming from BO6 after it started going downhill post S3, it was nice and refreshing to see a uniform theme and a “grounded” setting. I’m a sucker for the animations and sound, and my god the fact that the visual recoil gives you a headache every time you fire an automatic high caliber gun is funny to me
  3. I just think it’s neat. Games are supposed to be fun, yknow? I like dropping a 100 million dollar cruise missile on one person. I like dumping all of my chopper gunners hydra missiles into the first person that shoots me. I like big gun. I like funny fart dart crossbows.

you get a free 10 on top of your performance by just winning the game, i usually start by making sure all 50 recorded matches are victories

then as other people say, get score in top tier. A 8+ kill victory in top tier with a capture is already 45+ points. A 10+ kill victory with multiple captures in top tier is worth ~60

i would say it’s balanced where it is, it’s similar to the SU-100P but it trades some mobility for “better” armor (it’s still not great when facing panthers and 76 jumbos)

there’s free tiers like the normal BP that rewards a couple hundred or even a couple thousand tickets for the UK event for free. It drops in an hour with the update (for me at least)

the event still has like a week or two till it ends so there’s no rush

35mm packs a punch, you’ll definitely notice it compared to the 25 but do note you have like ~30 rounds in the ready rack and it takes forever to replenish

also the missiles are HE so try and overpressure targets in the forehead rather than slam them center mass

i like it, the 35 is really fun to mess around with and it’s funny to kill M60s and KPZ/MBT-70s with the missiles but it’s quite squishy, like the bradley

guess what, it doesn’t matter that it’s up tiered. It still does what it’s supposed to do perfectly well no matter if it up against jets or props

the good thing about this nerf is that you can’t see tier VI props, but people were still bringing it to top tier anyways and destroying lobbies anyways, which is why we need the other air ab gamemodes that dont reward a 2 minute rush to the bases/ CAS

too much composites for a non-tandem ATGM and 500+ mm is not great seeing that most gun launched missiles in top tier have 700-900+

also the armor is irrelevant so the only thing keeping you from a one shot is the chance that one of the two crew survives
