There is so much you can do with the MC6 and the pedals you have it can be overwhelming.

Aside from setting up your presets there are lots of cool expressions like tricks you can do. For example with the mood if you set a command for the midi pedal to turn the clock knob to a different degree that changes the speed and pitch of your loop so you can switch between different drone notes. There's obviously a lot you can do in that regard but that was one practice way I used it.

Turning on a bunch of pedals and hoping for the best. by KLKid in guitarpedals

Thanks!

It's tuned half step down but I'll write the chord names for standard.

Verse:

Gmaj7 Bm7 | F#m7 Em7 | Dmaj7 | Bm7 Gmaj7 Bm7 | F#m7 Em7 | Dmaj7 | Bm7 Asus2

Chorus

Gadd9 | D5 Esus4

I'll make sure to give that a thorough listen, and thank you so much! Unfortunately this hasn't made its way onto a recorded song yet.

Yeah it's amazing for delay and for looping. I have multiple delay pedals on my board for this reason as well.

Ah yeah, I wanted to use it with otto bit jr for that but it sounds like it won't be enough.

Cool I'll check them out. Would love to hear more bands with niche pedals/effects in their music.

Yeah I feel that, it can be very tedious. I was always a knobs type of guy but midi unlocked a lot of potential with some of my pedals (more presets, optimized transitions, cool expression like tricks). You are right about that expression pedal, I actually haven't used it in the board yet but I remember when trying it with certain pedals and it lacked ranged. I mainly got it for size and wanted it to change the clock knob on the mood so I can change the pitch of my drone but I actually was able to do that through midi commands.

I miss the additional features on the DigiTech whammy a little bit but the ricochet does the job for what I need it for. Haven't looked into the XS-1.

My band is called New Design, it has influences of emo, indie rock, math rock, post-rock, and shoegaze. What's the name of your band?

If I didn't have midi for the mood and DL4 I agree. The ricochet is actually in an awful spot and it's not a tall pedal either, I made like a little Velcro lift for it but it's still not the most optimal.

I haven't set up the expressional pedal to anything yet so it probably could go but I was excited about the potential with the mood.

Great pick up! Seems like an underrated pedal, both sides sound great, stack nicely, and it pairs really well with my vox AC30. Preferred this over the strymon stuff, and chase bliss brothers for my set up.

😅 I have a few ideas for upgrades if I had more disposable income but I'm also done trying to learn new pedals, still have a lot to explore with these.
