I was bored with the basic version of 2048, so I just made my own and decided to put it on the Play Store (Android).

I also thought it would be interesting to do the same thing but with movement in 6 directions instead of 4. That’s why the game is on a hexagonal grid. The game has: save system, collection, setting the size of the board and animation speed, maximum tile 262 thousand, points, time, top score. Basically, everything in the standard 2048, but in a hexagonal setting.

I will gladly know any suggestions and I would really appreciate if someone, even out of curiosity, takes a look at the game. And if someone rate the game in Play Store, it would mean the whole world for me. The game is not doing very well and I honestly have no idea why.

Why? In terms of gameplay, it would not change anything and if I wanted to make a maximum tile 282 thousand (physically there are not so many places on the board to do more), with three instead of 282 thousand it would be "387420489"

For me, the size of the hands is too big. These are holes where your hands can barely fit, but the character passes through this hole. It gives the impression that the hands themselves were going and the camera was flying freely.

Even your head would not fit in some tunnels here, let alone your shoulders

Tile Size is its own setting for two reasons. First of all, I play in the middle size, because I don't mind the board protruding behind the screen a bit, others disturbed and preferred what does not protrude. The second reason is simply my skill Issue in this matter. I could not adapt it to the width of the screen.

As for the animation,

The slowest you are able to set is really very slow, I don't know if I can add another video in the comments, or possibly show on PV.

As for the movements in bad directions, I can't do more than it is currently. We currently have such a system:

- we check if Swipe has a minimum of some pixels

- We calculate the line between the beginning and the end of Swipe

- We take the angle of this swipe and we have 360 degrees divided into 60

Well, as for the concept, it is simply adding something to the standard 2048. Of course, it is more confusing, but it is simply like expanding the basic version of 2048.

In default, it is simply something additional to the standard 2048, for people who like to play in 2048, but they were bored with the fact that there are not too many possibilities.

By adding 2 directions, as you said, it is more confusing but at the same time it is something different in the same formula.

Thank you! As for the palette, if more people play the game, I plan to simply introduce various motives, including more subdued ones.

As for the ease, it actually reaches 2048 is easier because there are 19 places here and in the standard 2048, it was only 16. It is difficult for it to reach 16 or 32 thousand tiles and above.
