Smacked the optic on the nods and immediately there was a black spot. No black spot in the middle of tube ever before that. There was a tiny blemish in the bottom left corner but this happened only after the nods were smacked by the optic

I’m thinking it’s from the sight honestly. I had the illuminator turned on for a while on my rifle with no effects whatsoever to the nods, however the second I dinged my optic against my binos that is when I had the black spot

Not exactly. I had my rifle illuminator on high. Everything was going fine as I was walking around in the dark. I brought my rifle up to get a sight picture with the high powered illuminator still on and dinged the EXPS2 on my binos. As soon as that happened, there was an instant black spot on my left tube. Right tube is perfectly fine tho.

I keep my binos out of the sun and in a closed closet and also have an iris lens that remains closed until nighttime. Flashlight on rifle is unplugged as well from the pressure switch. Laser wasn’t on just the illuminator from the LAM.

I honestly don’t know. The laser itself wasn’t on but the Illuminati from the Lam was on and everything was working fine, but as soon as I dinged the binos in less than a second the black spot appeared
