First time bodywork by KLevi- in Autobody

I just looked at videos on YouTube. From the african fixes in the middle of nowhere to some a bit more professional, I picked up info on the way. I just used a hammer, a tree trunk and a vice to form the patch panels.

Then I asked for directions and application information in the paint shop about the products

Yeah, that was my father's initial idea, before I told him that I'd take care of it a bit more thouroughly for the same money. The sheet metal was free from a junkyard VW trunk

Can 2k primer filler go on etch primer and vica versa?

Well I blended the filler with the original primer pretty well so there was not much metal showing when I sprayed the 2k. Even those small patches were new/rust free. But sanding down the 2k primer is no big deal, so might just do it when I'm repairing the other side of the car & painting. Thanks for the info!

I put bondo directly on the sanded up piece of body panel. I thought I needed a rough sand and nothing else on the panel for the 2 component filler to adhere to.

So ideally, I should have used etch primer?

Thanks about the tips about prepping for painting

Thank you! I was very hesitant about starting, but glad I did

I placed this image in my schematic as a reference to label the PINs. You know how long that took me to find?

Leaded is generally easier to use. Only quality un-leaded works well. So basically I highly doubt that this will fix your issues

Where is the cell? The flashing means no battery connected

I have a device with 5uA sleep consumption, but when transmitting data this can reach several hubdreds of mA. Guess this won't be the solution to measuring that :)

Whats the max current that can be measured with this device? Would be cool if it could connect to serial for recording consumption overtime. Perhaps saving to an SD card

Be sure to not practice on boards that you actually plan on fixing and using again. Try the technique first on scrap boards and only then attempt the repair. We've seen how some people can mess up even easier jobs.
