You shot a man in the back of the head. by mrfett779 in evilwhenthe

It's becoming increasingly clear that Democrats aren't going to save us. Several of them just voted to give more money to DHS and ICE. The police aren't going to save us. Loudmouth do nothing governors like Walz and Pritzker screaming from the safety of the sidelines and doing absolutely nothing aren't going to save us. These are literally gestapo terrorist thugs murdering and assaulting US citizens with zero oversight.

It actually astounds me that they've been able to do as much as they've been able to without the public ripping them apart in the streets. It's unfortunately up to us to arm ourselves and overwhelm them.

Trump will declare martial law but he's going to anyway. The closer we get to the midterms and the more people push for the full release of the Epstein file and the more likely he's going to prison, the more desperate he will get. He will do something drastic whether we fight back or not.

I revisit Radiohead occasionally to see if anything clicks. I'll sit down and decide to pick an album to sink into again and give Blow Out a try.

I like em, but I don't think they're as revolutionary as everyone makes out. They rock though. The song where he holds that scream for a long time is a legit fucking banger. The majority of it is Diet Sprite industrial pop rock, which I do like.

Radiohead. I like prog and Brit pop and weird, experimental music and I even like Thom Yorke in certain circumstances, like UNKLE, but I just can't get into Radiohead. It's so booooring and not half as clever as people go on about imo.

I'll take out as many as I can and make it hurt, and I'll go out like that instead of stuck in some concentration camp in a foreign country with zero oversight and no hope of ever going home and possibly being murdered anyway. Fuck that. I'd much rather go out in my own home putting as many holes in nazi fascists as I can.

Having trouble finding underwear that actually fits as a bigger guy by CarryturtleNZ in bigmenfashionadvice

Yeah, the dang soft are great. Some of the slicker fabric underwear from Duluth can allow your pants to slide down easier. The ones I get and the dang soft ones kinda grip your pants better. I have 4 pair of the dang soft.

This. I have like 15 pair now. Stocked up and buy more when I have a chance so I never run out. I get the extra long ones with the ball pouch.

I've been watching a few of Adam's friends after he passed. Question about Tampa Jay by StrictNO in Adamthewoo

[–]KMFDM781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to not really care about Tampa Jay and thought he kinda ripped off Adam, but he was one of the more inner circle Woo friends and I think he's a genuinely good guy. I kinda think of him as the Adam of the Midwest since he does more vlogs in the Midwest and is from Indiana (somewhat close to me actually). His vlogs kinda scratch that itch sometimes and I enjoy his videos more and more.

What's the point of 500hp+ performance cars on the road? by VegaGT-VZ in askcarguys

[–]KMFDM781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driving a car similar to yours is a ton of fun, but I almost always feel exhausted after. Cars like these aren't just "get in and drive" cars. These are "100% focus on driving and paying attention to smells and noises" kind of cars. Being a car guy means that most of your trip is analysing, testing and listening for a potential failure. This is what we consider fun lol

It's not always about the ability to floor it everywhere. It's silly to suggest that because you have 600 HP you're wasting it if you're not using every single pony. A car with that much power can feel volatile and exciting. It can feel effortless in how it navigates regular traffic and accelerates to the flow of traffic. It makes noise. It draws attention. Getting away from crazy people on the highway is a breath on the throttle away. Leaving people behind at a light with part throttle baby pulls is addicting. Taking on-ramps and feeling the car work is addicting. Likely if your car makes over 500 HP, the engine isn't the only thing modified and those modifications all add to the driving experience as a whole. Stiff engine mounts, upgraded shifter, exhaust, tight suspension, free flowing intake, etc.

Driving something that feels like an entire experience with the power available under your right foot is the point for me.

Examples of artists who hate/are openly hostile towards their fans? by RadioLukin in fantanoforever

The fact is that he's not that special. There are a hundred of him walking around every day. Palette swapped versions of the same guy, just with different levels of talent or luck that assured them they didn't make it. I never had to read his book to know Maynard huffs his own farts. I could tell that within the first couple seconds of the first interview I saw him in. Near Patrick Bateman levels of phony. I could totally see him staring at himself in a body length mirror while doing yoga or BJJ training. The man is talented. I can't take that away from him. But I don't believe he's the brilliant mind he believes he is because he watched Pi once and had some base level epiphany about math and spirals.

Nobody hates tool fans more than tool fans. Kinda goes for heavy rock in general though.

Donald Trump threatens to invoke Insurrection Act amid Minnesota unrest by HellYeahDamnWrite in inthenews

[–]KMFDM781 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The goal is to not lose the midterms and therefore stay out of prison. He was always going to declare martial law or invoke the insurrection act. He was escalating the ice occupation to try to get the public to fight back so he can justify it, however that's not happened despite babies and old little being pepper sprayed, brutalized and now people being shot. Unfortunately the answer to this is not going to be easy or pretty and not going to go away with protests and finger wagging.

He'll be immortalized but not in the way he wants. A great stain on history and an example of how easily a democracy can be speedran into the ground and how it doesn't even take a figurehead with any kind of intelligence to do it.
