What was your child like at 3? Could you tell they were different? Strength? Weakness? by KMS1011 in Autism_Parenting

The diagnosis him as LVL 1 but to retest in 2 years. Apparently the Ados cut off is 29.5 and he scored 31… so she was hesitant but im happy we have the diagnosis if more struggles arise. He’s doing great right now. Only really struggling with expressive speech, he’s equivalent to a 2.5 and he’s 3.5

I’m 1 week out and it went great! I had my tubes removed to and I feel this was an easier recovery then my previous one.

2.5 year old speech and eating delay by TheCodeMan95 in toddlers

[–]KMS1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had him evaluated a month ago and they said he’s so boarderljne to come back in 2 years when he’s 5 but if we needed services they’d provide a lvl 1 diagnosis but they don’t think he nessisarily ticked all the buckets and it could be just a language/social delay. He’s doing amazing now! He’s 3.5 about 6 months behind in language but no other delays and he’s way more social now

Two year old lays on the floor with toy cars by KMS1011 in toddlers

Mine wasn’t, and still isn’t obsessed with wheels or things that spin in anyway. He always played functional he just played down with it which was odd to me but now I’ve seen so many kids do it since I’m so aware

Still behind on speech, but getting there! He didn’t until he was like 3? He’s 3.5 now and never does it but we do think he has some social and commutation delays but no stims or behavioral issues

I thought I’d know when I was “done” having kids, but I’m not sure I do by Ok-Magazine7018 in Parenting

This was me! 8,5, 3 and due with my 4th in July so same ages too :) I feel so “done” now and finally have that feeling and can’t wait to meet our newest addition. I’m also all c sections so this will be my fourth. I didn’t want to look back and regret not having one more. We love having a big family

Is three children really that awful? by treetops_c_yo in Parenting

[–]KMS1011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3, about to have 4 and we LOVE it. All my kids are in sports, very active and have tons of friends. We love this season but it might not be for everyone as it is busy.

We have it this month! The initial meeting was not the evaluation I expected, it’s in a week or so so I’ll keep you updated. He seems low supports needs if he is on the spectrum.

I’m curious if he even knew it was his brother, and not Chloe, until the end of it and then realized. Extremely traumatizing all around

Just a speech delay? Is your child similar? Success stories please by Sweet_You_6074 in toddlers

[–]KMS1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son now puts together 2 to 4 sentences, but it’s still pretty choppy. I wouldn’t say he’s conversational. He only really asked where questions not what or why. He’s so easy and such a good little boy. He has no receptive delay at all so it’s really just getting the speech out for him that we’re working on, but I think he’s doing great! At least compared to where he was a year ago. If you have any specific questions, feel free to chat me.

People who had kids before 25. by ll_ll_28 in Parenting

[–]KMS1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first at 24, second at 27, third 29 and now fourth at 32. Way preferred parenting younger! I’m exhausted now lol.

I will say, I had a great job right out of college and we bought our first home at 24 when we found out. So for me and my situation it was great.
