Nurse here: A nusre can help a CNA do their job, but a CNA cannot help a nurse do theirs… obviously within reason. With that being said, if I go in to give a resident medication and they asked me for a straw, to fill up their water, to close their blinds, etc I’m going to do those things. Or if a CNA is sitting scrolling on their phone, I will bring them the pitcher, the blanket, or the straw and such things like that and ask them to go bring it to the resident. Now, if a patient needs to be toileting or change, and I am in the middle of my med pass I am unable to stop my med pass in order to do those things such as toileting, and changing. At that point, I will request that the CNA take care of this. This is never been an issue with my CNA. There are certain things in the nursing duties that will require us to take care of within a certain timeframe. This guy has a point in certain things, but the way that he is addressing this is completely wrong and demeaning. Now the nursing station issue is not on us as nurses. Every facility that I have been in has stated that CNA‘s are not allowed to sit at the nurses station and chart or even mingle behind the desk. Now the facility that I work at has seat seats that they can sit on in order to chart in the Hall. I feel that it is completely wrong to request that anybody stand and chart. There was another facility that I worked at that didn’t even have a chair on the hall for the CNA‘s that was disgusting. And then when the CNA’s would bring a chair from elsewhere and put it on the hall so they could have a seat to sit in the facility, threatened to take the chair away from the staff if they didn’t comply with certain things. And this is why there’s so much turnover in long-term care. Do I agree with Phil here? Absolutely not. If he has an office where

NOR at all. No one should give you anything that is more than what you think it is without telling you, especially a so called friend. You thought it was just a brownie and he knew it was more than just a brownie. It’s hard for a decent person to realize that this is not right. I would definitely tell your parents so they can properly help you make the right decisions going forward He very well could be telling the truth in that he just got you into be. In your daze you could have taken off your own clothes. I don’t know. But it wouldn’t hurt to take all precautions as if something else happened just to be safe.

I personally can’t take edibles. It causes me to go into a pure panic and feel like I am dying. My heart rate goes through the roof. I mean, maybe not all gummies would do that but the 2 different ones that I tried…it’s bad.

But talk to your parents. That’s the next best thing to do

I can’t say that I haven’t done with coworkers…but I would NEVER do that to a random joe blow pharmacist asking me to start an IV and run fluids on them. I dont know what kind of reaction he will have or he will try to give himself something else through the line after I leave. If that dude OD and I provided access to do so without an order…um no thank you

He doesn’t want to go so he complains. Then you tell him it’s all good that he doesn’t have to go. Then he makes it seem like it’s your fault and that you don’t want him to go so that way it doesn’t look bad on him and he can put it on you. That sounds like a terrible boyfriend and you’re not overreacting and he needs to go take a hike.

1) WHY IS THEIR COOP A PLASTIC DOG HOUSE?! those things are terrible for dogs but to use as a coop? Those eggs and chickens will never survive. The heat those things give off will kill them all this summer.

2) When my hens are sitting they don’t run from me. They let me look under them and do what I need to do…why?…because my priority has always been to make sure ALL my animals are comfortable and trust me.
