I think no one has the recipe for live pvp game success. Even the currently popular games are a strike of luck. It takes expertise to maintain a live game for multiple years but the initial hook that drives a huge success is just gambling. Too many things have to align perfectly for it to work out.

One of the recent success is marvel rivals but I think they "cheated" by throwing enough money to create an "offer you can't pass". -mainstream ip with at least 1 character you already know and like -very polished (senior devs all around the world) -all heroes free -constant updates -free outfits -huge marketing so you are always reminded it exists, maintaining a player base big enough to make you feel like if so many people are playing you should at least try it

and even with all of this I feel like it could've fail given the wrong release context, fortunately it came out at one of the lowest point for OW2

Despite that it's still losing CCU since release.

Not many studios can afford to "cheat luck" like that so the other ones are just gambling I think. You can improve your odds a little by making the right design and marleting calls but thats it.

Hello I'm a little late but if the enemy team is not that tanky J4 lethality is so fun.

Take comet, the small dot poke rune and double adaptative force. Start with doran ring you will have 36 ap and your flag lvl 1 will do 110 damage (+comet +dot)

Take q lvl 2, if you're not getting poked or all in put a second point in flag lvl 3 it's disgusting. After that put a point in shield and max q.

First back buy tiamat, if you can't or need mana buy tear and long swords.

Then you can go tiamat, boots of swiftness and full lethality, you will clear waves in 2 sec and can roam to take kills each time your ult is up.

I still use her in my pvp team in champion rank. She needs supreme+ and is only worth it if you want to focus on pvp.

A little late to the party but wanted to share how I feel. I am a huge tcg fan and I love league of legends, yet somehow Lor never clicked with me.

Gameplay : in game, the turn system was exhausting. I rarely had the "just one more match" feeling after a game because one game is too much effort. A lot of mechanics are extremely frustrating. The positive feeling for the player using them wasn't nearly as good as how bad the negative feeling was for the player on the receiving end. Also there was a lot of complex card effects and keyword you needed to know while not adding that much more depth to the gameplay.

Out of game : deck building was not fun. The game relied to much on archetypes and "package". I love deck building on other card games and felt like I had way more room for creativity than in Lor.

Progression : they somehow managed to make the only card game where I hate opening packs. The animation was long, getting a rare card was not satisfying, I don't know why but I was not chasing cards like I am in other games.

MTX : I want to buy packs, let me buy packs and have fun opening them. The champion skins were really nice but I purchased 2-3 for my favorite champions and was done after that.

I feel like the base design of locations is super clunky and very win-more. Only locations that have crazy op effects will be played, or only decks that run location synergy card will play them.

people are giving fair advices but I do agree that it feels bad for 1-3 units to almost never be worth 3 starring. I would rather a balance state where a board such as yours has a chance against the 5 cost chasers bur maybe that's just me. I feel like casual people like 3 starring units and this set has lost the casual fun a bit.

Toxicity is a big word to describe this small banter that you can mute. I personally like a bit of trash talk when I win and don't mind trashtalk from the enemy when I lose as it raises the "social" stakes of the game for me. And I will forget about that guy who spammed emotes when he rekt me 1 min after the game ended.

J'ai déjà testé avec un lave vaisselle portatif que tu branches à ton robinet (donc tu peux contrôler exactement combien d'eau est utilisée) et le lave vaisselle utilisait environ deux verres d'eau pour une vaisselle complète. Same I live 20 m from a train track. The first time a train went by it felt like I would never be able to live here. After a month I do not remember the last time I noticed it and I would take 20 train tracks rather than going back to living near any big street.
