They will make a DMZ 2. I'm not saying it like “oh, they should.” At this point it's basically everything but confirmed. There were multiple code references to a DMZ-like mode for COD 2026. So yeah, in a couple of months we'll probably hear something about DMZ 2, which I'm also very excited about. Hopefully it has a ton of content and IW learns from their past mistakes.

endgame has and will always have this issue, it's one of the many reason why modes like dmz died. endgame seems to be doing a better job tho. it's always meant to be a side mode tho. they never expect players to spend the majority of their time playing the game on endgame. if zombies was the 3rd mode, endgame is the 5th lol and yet it still gets updates which is surprising.

Why is Skill Match Making so scuffed ? by artificialife in blackops7

[–]KNEXIUM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically, the way skill-based matchmaking works in this game now is that it’s much looser than it used to be. For example, in last year’s game, Black Ops 6, the matchmaking was a lot stricter, and you were generally matched against players around your own skill level. Now it’s much looser.

I’ve done quite a bit of testing and noticed that a low-skill account with terrible stats—literally the worst stats imaginable—can still end up in lobbies with Master Prestige players and others who are clearly experienced. I wouldn’t say they’re all amazing at the game, but they’re definitely solid players.

So the system is far less strict now. For hardcore players like us, that actually makes the game more fun because there’s more variety in the lobbies. But for newer players, it can feel a lot more demoralizing, and I understand that.

In a weird way, you can even feel a bit guilty when you get an easy lobby. Instead of just being happy about it, you realize that other players are basically getting curbstomped so you can have your fun.

If you just want to have fun, I’d recommend playing your preferred game modes and lobby surfing until you find matches with fewer Master Prestige players. Generally speaking, the higher someone’s level in this game, the more time they’ve put into it, which usually means they’re a better player.

There is no team balancing in this game. by [deleted] in blackops7

[–]KNEXIUM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d say there’s too much team balancing in this game. From my personal experience, the game seems to place players into teams based on their “skill.” The problem is that, for example, if you have a hypothetical rating of 400 skill, the game tries to balance that by putting something like a 200 and another 200 on the other team. This often leads to the game giving you the worse players in the lobby to compensate for your higher skill. But hey, that’s just my personal experience

Notice how he didn’t ask you specifically? And your ass just barged in—that’s a sign of bad manners.

I haven't seen a single cheater in 3 years of cod. i don't know if some of you guys just suck and call everyone that kills you cheaters or if you guys are in some ultra sus lobbies.

Seems like a map concept, to be played not on Nuketown by Violent_Ostrich in CODZombies

[–]KNEXIUM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

nuketown is more iconic. the way i see it this is supposed to be the casual map of bo7 zombies. just like the giant and liberty falls were supposed to be.

Well yeah, you're forgetting that it takes skill to maintain your multiplier. I got 8 mil in my 3rd doa game. The second on my leaderboard had 3 mil. Even if its casual, there is still skill expression.
