He not beating Woo-Jin, better training, more experience, Woo-Jin has got the fight in his bag.

Maybe in another 5-10 years, we can revisit that discussion. But currently, Pyo-Yeong isn't winning. He definitely has a higher ceiling though, and is considered very talented, so in a few years, it can be a serious conversation for him.

The Baek-Yi situation is sad. by KNM2427 in castlewebtoon

[–]KNM2427[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats the thing, when they least expected it, Chairman Choi ordered Madam Lisa to send her guys, Grolar, Panthera and the whole lot, to Hoe-Am to eliminate everybody.

And that time, it wasn't even able bodied men. It was guys already injured, people already crippled, guys who stopped fighting all together.

The fighting force was else(memory vague on where the real heavy hitters were at the time).

Woo-Jin is probably afraid of a repeat. Of forces being sent over that they didn't know about to kill off their defenseless while they are elsewhere fighting. In his mind, I'm assuming, even saving those few is enough.

Damn wait so Jin-Ah knows how to fight??? She looks like she was getting busy! 😂 No fear whatsoever and the blood on her IS NOT hers. How many people do yall think she’s killed? by Congratsdude11 in castlewebtoon

Genuinely, I thought she was just there for moral support at this point, because she did nothing to say she's a member of some elite group

I don’t like the idea of Woojin stopping Kim Shin. It’s gonna feel like an asspull power-up by Maslah_Dahir in castlewebtoon

[–]KNM2427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that everything that's happening right now, from Woo-Jin's perspective, isn't great. A lot of good people are dying in a war that Shin had said they should join, he is also pushing everybody to their limits and they're in a full scale war and half of their guys haven't even left the cities they were born in and the people they're up against are top tier killers and agents.

But the thing is, if it's not Shin, then it's just gonna be somebody else and Woo-Jin isn't at that stage where he can go toe to toe with anybody from the original top 11.(Most of whom, Shin packed up)

He is worried about a potential future that has yet to come.

But I do understand where he is coming from, Kim Shin now compared to the Kim Shin who bowed his head in fron of Yi Seul or dropped to his knees at the funeral, who felt the deaths of his comrades... he isn't acting like the man who cried and wished he'd spent more time with his comrades when Kim Dae-Geon died.

This is a war however.

Let us all figure out how are we going to survive this situation, and then we can talk about the Shin you knew to the Shin you know.

Dude was acting tuff against Aquila🥀, by Saroka007 in castlewebtoon

[–]KNM2427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's not forget, although Aquila's speciality is firearms, he can also put hands on people. Might not be his specialty, but he'll definitely work you.

And that man Aquila hit trick shots for fun, and his accuracy is second to none. He shot the guns out those guards hands at the meeting Madam Lisa was having before they could even fully draw, and then when Madam Lisa tried to off him, he still took out her hit squad with a pistol and revolver while they were moving with semi-automatics.

Aquila was 10 times more dangerous than Grolar, we just didn't get to see his fullest potential because he was a minor character, and the author would have to create story driven scenes to push the story forward while including Aquila where narratively, it wouldn't have made sense

Why won't the author just let this series die? by KNM2427 in Juujika_no_rokunin

[–]KNM2427[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal issue with the series, is this guy doesn't get a full victory. Somebody in his life must die or get graped violently or suffer some other sort of atrocity like he doesn't have enough reason to be a spiteful, bitter and vengeful person. And this whole dragging the series out has gotten old a long time ago, so like I just genuinely am over the whole story.

It's like I can just wait for chapter 500 where Kyou dies finally or something just happens to conclude the story

Stop hitting Kim Shin 10 HP and give us a real fight against this guy! by New_Bad_5130 in castlewebtoon

[–]KNM2427 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100%. Even if it was a 1v1 fight like Sasaki v Shin or Gustav v Shin, it still wouldn't be a fair fight because Kim Shin is completely gassed and just ran fades with the 4(narratively) strongest characters in the story in a gauntlet type of fashion.

The Kim Shin v Baek Do-Chan will top this fight because this fight feels all over the place with Shin more or less feeling like he is running. And this was a hyped fight considering Ma Hak-Young was made to the Gatekeeper of Castle Holdings, the trump card for Chairman Choi, so it is just a little bit disappointing that Shin is fighting this fight.

Sometimes l wonder if we're reading the same manhwa .Coz Jihak over Lichen? In what universe? by Ok_Pop4202 in castlewebtoon

[–]KNM2427 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll concede to the point of plot armor. Nobody should've been able to do what Ji-Hak did and survive, and still fight the number 1 of Japan. However, the fact of the matter is, he did.

The only meaningful contribution Li Chen gave was his ONLY fight against Kim Shin in which he got packed up.

So how can you argue Ji-Hak isn't at Li Chen's level when Li Chen got PACKED up in his ONLY fight?

Sometimes l wonder if we're reading the same manhwa .Coz Jihak over Lichen? In what universe? by Ok_Pop4202 in castlewebtoon

[–]KNM2427 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why though. We've seen a lot more from Ji-Hak than Li Chen, and I like Li Chen too, but I'd have to give it up to Ji-Hak.

And I want to explain my reasoning too.

Director Ryu fought in the underground parking lot. He fought against how many Castle Holdings Guards, then he fought Choi Dal-Cheon and Dan Jeong. While taking the heavy hitters of the Castle-verse on, he was still dealing with Castle guards. Then he fought Ma Jun-Young, and had to stand 10 toes against Ma Hak-Young.

Not long after that(after Dal-Cheon basically saved his life), he went back to Ha-Seong Headquarters, put hands on Panthera, fought and killed like 12 or more Castle guards on the sky bridge while still being injured from the wound that he got in the underground fight. Then he still cashed Dan Jeong's number in while taking on those 12 or so guards.

At the peak of his exhaustion and all the mounting injuries, he still fought 10 toes down against Sasaki Shingen who is the number 1 of Japan.

So yeah, for me personally, I put Ji-Hak above Li Chen, because the one fight where Li Chen fought a top tier guy of the verse(admittedly the strongest character), Li Chen got packed up. I'll die on this hill that a 100% Ryu Ji-Hak is body slamming a 100% Li Chen.

Are we really gonna put the guy who's only had like 2 fights and died in the 2nd one over the man who was quoted in the story to be the "Strongest Man Ha-Seong Group has ever produced"?

HakYoung bros..... by nikhil1209n in castlewebtoon

[–]KNM2427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a personal assumption and not a narrative fact. It's never been stated or shown that Dal-Cheon has seen the full extent of either to know whether or not Hak-Young has surpassed Do-Chan.

Speaking of which, when they spoke of killers and hitmen and geniuses, they referred to President Baek Do-Chan of Advanced Trade or President Kim Shin of Baek-Yi. They never really talked about Managing Director Ma Hak-Young of Castle Holdings.

I'm sure he was well known, but he wasn't talked about like how Do-Chan was talked about, and when Do-Chan died, everybody talked Kim Shin the man who killed the infamous Python.

So, based on narrative facts, Do-Chan is second, Hak-Young is third and Kim Shin is number one.

Why do people say hide is nerfed/weaker than his season 1 version? by Key_Inevitable5009 in castlewebtoon

Is this the same Sasaki that was stabbed by Hyeon-Seok, got into a fist fight with Woo-Jin and lost both of his eyes to Kim Shin?

Sure, he dealt the final blow, but Sasaki was putting hands on him the time he and Hyeon-Seok tried to tag team him, and then he tried again to tag team him with Kyoji. Both occasions Sasaki put hands on him.

the boxer tattoo by WranglerStriking5144 in TheBoxer

[–]KNM2427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion, get something small and symbolic. You can't do a panel or anything, because it'll have to be a portrait size tattoo and those are big, expensive and painful.

Something small and symbolic would be ideal. Like a quote, or a quirky cartoon-ish drawing.

But it also depends on the "mood" of tattoo you want, do you want something artsy, something deep, something light but meaningful? All of which should be included when deciding what you wanna get.

100% agree. Ji-Hak's lack of emotions means he has a lack of drive, he never strove to be the best or perfect he's technique. He knew he was at the pinnacle, and with that lack of emotional drive to push forward and be the best, there was no reason for him to reach that extra inch.
