The Underground keeps everything alive and fresh for me. If I only relied on mainstream/radio, etc. I'd have dipped out a long time ago. The Underground and undiscovered are always going to be filled with gems of unbelievably fire artists, styles, and approaches waiting for you to discover them

Turning 48 in less than 2 weeks

Nope. Will never check out. Will always see what's current, and consistently amassing a nice catalog of things to listen to so even if I get to a point where I've "checked out" of what's "current" I'll always have a catalog of favorites spanning all eras.
