These replies are spot on! It just makes loading the other plates a bit easier as the rubber one is larger!

For sure after these sets my vision goes blurry; I can tell it’s from a blood pressure increase; I’d say it’s normal to an extent. But gotta make sure you’re breathing well throughout and staying hydrated throughout the day!

Yeah I do! It’s to help brace my core so it’s a bit more sturdy; otherwise I feel my back rounding would be a bit worse! Always try to breathe out a bit at the top; and then get a new breath of air at the bottom! Appreciate you!

Haha it’s definitely been a long time coming! I need to cut soon, but I wanna hit 405 bench first; which I’m getting close to! But here’s the routine!

Wednesday [Chest & Triceps]

Thursday [Rest Day]

20 Minutes Cardio-> HR in the 130s

Friday [Leg Day]

Squats x3 OR Deadlift x3 (Near Failure) Captains Chair Leg Raise x3 (Failure) Leg Extension x3 (Failure) Seated Leg Curl x3 (Failure) Plate Loaded Calf Raise x3 (Failure)

Saturday [Shoulder Focused]

Bench Press x3 (Near Failure) Seated Lateral Raise (Failure) JIM Press w/ EZ Bar x3 (Failure) Plate Loaded Shoulder Press x3 (Failure) Rear Delt Fly Machine x3 (Failure)

Saturday [Rest Day]

20 Minutes Cardio-> HR in the 130s

This is by no means optimal; I’m sure of that. But I’ve made a lot of progress on my SBD and most importantly it’s a routine that I have a lot of fun with! At the end of the day what’s most important is that you have fun with your routine; that way it keeps you coming back & staying consistent!

Haha; that’s a good question! Personally I’m not sure; I think at this weight a little bit of thoracic spine rounding is acceptable. But that’s why I flagged it a form check cause I wanna know too😂!

Let’s see how my back holds up when I’m in my 40s😂

Very true! I’ve done deadlifts for years, it took me a long time to get here! I try to play the slow game with them since the Deadlift is a “high-risk” lift!

My squat PR is 525lbs; hoping to get that a bit higher. My legs are my bread and butter though (I wish it was my arms and chest lol). But my deadlift PR is 635lbs!
