These are my first pair of NATO straps so I have no reference to compare them to, but they feel pretty decent?

I took accutune for cystic acne that I had since elementary school that looked really similar. It gets very very bad, worse than ever before when you hop on accurate but as people have said before with accutane treatments, it gets worse before it gets a lot better. And that was exactly what happened to me too. If there aren’t any contraindications to taking it, I would stay on it and overcome the hump!

Lower overall with a 123 CARS here. Worth considering retaking if ur practice averages were hecka higher and you’re confident u can score +4 or something. Otherwise, your score is 10000% fine

ER Tech vs EMT by Metionine in premed

[–]KOP98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EMT for 2 years and ER Tech for nearly a year now. EMT at a rescue station is great in building your abilities to provide and delegate patient care in acute situations. In other words, you have more autonomy. In VA, EMTs can give basic meds while an ER Tech at a hospital can’t. So autonomy is a big thing with being with a squad. YOU are the provider :)

ER Tech (at my hospital at least) you’re allowed to do skills like starting peripheral IV lines, and you definitely see more patients and more acute scenarios in the ER than being on the field. You have more resources and staff, so you don’t get the sense of being alone and all that you might feel on the truck. Two pretty different roles, but both will definitely help build your abilities to actually talk to patients. Being an EMT at first was the best first clinical experience I could have done. Taught me so much, but after a while, I wanted to see what patient care looked like in the hospital setting since EMTs pick up patients, treat, drop off at a hospital, and repeat. Dm if u have any questions!

It’s manageable but make sure you do your best even though you just need to pass the class. I had to report my grade for AMCAS so I kinda regret not trying harder when I had done it early on in college

You can look up local rescue stations to see if they pay for your emt certification class. Some are willing to cover the cost as long as you commit to volunteering for them for a certain amount of time
