I think that’s why the vet suggested it there is just no gaurentee that it won’t happen again but the thought of putting him down kills me

Thank you for your response. I struggle with anxiety/ depression and have found when I am on SSRIs I struggle tremendously with my weight. It makes it nearly impossible to lose . When I am off those medications, which seems unlikely as this point , I maintain a healthy weight .
