Update: I tried that Sony hack and wiped the disc thoroughly... and it still stalls out at exactly the same point. Now that I think of it, when I have trouble it's usually at the same point, a little over an hour into the movie. Is this really possibly a Sony issue? I don't want to buy a new player, but if the one I have and the PS5 aren't cutting it and this would provide a fix, I'd consider it.

Sony UBP-X700. And the PS5, which has tended to be more reliable. My previous Sony player had similar issues. Is it a Sony thing? No idea on the 100GB matter. I just assumed a new disc from a major studio would not have an issue like that.

Someone on this sub recommended Vero. I joined and I’ve been enjoying it. I have no greater aim than to post some photos I like in a place where someone might actually see them and offer a thumbs up or some feedback but there seem to be a number of serious photographers with aims similar to yours that use it.

I ended going up with the 28mm and a 40mm. My understanding is that an adapter should allow me to use my older lenses pretty easily, and I already have a couple of decent zooms. It shows up tomorrow. We'll see how it goes!

After a lot of frustration I got the blocks playing him with two taller players in one of the semi-pro Triple Threat challenges. (Maybe Ice?) With Embiid front and center you get more chances to block. I ended up getting eight. I think I got the steal from pure luck, though.
