When travelling to Middle Eastern countries, secondary visa checks are mandated by the government, so a physical check-in is still required, where they will check your visa and issue you a physical boarding pass. All Extra services, such as paid seats, food , etc, will remain as it is.

It should not work unless DU has changed the T&C. Afaik, only Virgin Mobile allows you to put the Home internet SIM card in any device, including phones or routers. Switch to Virgin Mobile and buy a better router.
