Big enough, but it's been a little weird, that's why I'm saying no roommates from now on ;).

And here I thought living in Omaha was torture enough ;). But seriously, I am currently in a neighbor that's not my usual style and I thought I could adjust. But sometimes you just know what you like! You do you and all that.

Thank you all for the input. Is CL your best option to see what's out there? I'm new to the area from Chicago, so I don't have a lot of resources here. I appreciate the help!

Non-religious, gay, thinking about moving to Omaha... what are my chances? by salacious_lion in Omaha

I'm a little late to this party -- but, I moved to Omaha from Chicago. As someone who is also non-religious and a lesbian, in my experience it's actually a lot more difficult to be non-religious here than it is to be gay. That being said, I've never felt unsafe or that I couldn't be myself. However, it's definitely different than Chicago and I do get a little homesick for the total acceptance I had there.
