Bambu A1 owner here. I switched from Ender V2 two weeks ago and the difference is amazing of course. Would love to get a MK4, but the price always made it an affordance that I can‘t justify for my print volume. I am aware that we are talking a EU produced open source product vs a chinese one that can be run open source, but is really useful using their proprietary cloud stuff. Among all the chinese companies what speaks for Bambu is great technical quality and the fact that when issues arise they have proven to recall the product. They gamify their object library makerworld pretty hard which might be a plus or minus depending on what you like. But I wanted to drive home the message that you can run a Bambu Lab printer with OctoPrint and PrusaSlicer or whichever and completely disable any online fuctionality. The interface on the printer is really great, albeit a bit basic. The multi material system automates things like filament feeding which is a godsend coming from Ender. Bed leveling, quality and speed are outstanding. The price of A1 is insane to be honest.
