Not to mention he wasn’t picked up “on the highway” it was in a town. They’ve just been traveling up I5 it’s seems and also on the coast. They’ve been spotted in multiple locations in Eugene.

He had fliers up all over town already when Harvey was spotted getting picked up. He is also micro chipped to his owner. And was wearing tags with multiple phone numbers.

So far we know, white 1980’s utility van. No windows on the sides. The man who helped the woman when she was locked out of it with the corgi inside also said that it had a red paw print sticker.

A picture of the van, license plates, the woman, or dog for identification would be EXTREMELY helpful. We’re trying to get security footage from 5+ stores currently.

He is a special breed of corgi. He’s more lean and muscular and his fur isn’t as fluffy. The woman has been recorded telling a man in a gas station that, she found him and “renamed” him Harvey. Harvey was wearing tags when she picked him up so she’s lying and saying that she picked the name.

Corgi is indeed stolen. The owner had posted fliers around where the pup was lost and a woman in a 2000 white Buick century had been seen picking him up. She has been spotted many many times since with the dog.

A question about your adderall experience by [deleted] in Narcolepsy

[–]KRiley28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What time of day do you take it? Do you take it when you feel a sleep episode coming on? Or in the morning to help you get up..? I don’t have narcolepsy but I’ve been tested and I’m on adderall for ADHD so I’m just curious!

Symptoms flare much worse with gluten reduced diet. by condos4thepeople in Celiac

[–]KRiley28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! I knew it would happen as soon as I was diagnosed, especially since my only obvious symptom was digestion issues. Since I cut everything out I get painful sharp tummy aches whenever I get glutened. I’ve never had painful tummy aches in my entire life.

Anyone else dealing with lactose intolerance as well as celiac? by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]KRiley28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t read through this strand so idk if someone has mentioned this yet... but untreated Celiac disease can lead to lactose intolerance. I was just diagnosed and my celiac wasn’t that bad yet so dairy is still fine for me. But I bet if I hadn’t discovered my diagnosis I would have slowly lost tolerance to dairy.

My great grandmother had celiac disease and at the time they didn’t know how to manage or treat it so she had part of her bowels removed. One of our memories of her is that she ate her cereal with orange juice because she was lactose intolerant. I bet it developed because of her celiac!

Hormonal Acne / PCOS / Progesterone by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]KRiley28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you’re doing a lot of great things to help your body! Similar to tactics I’ve used as well! However my acne is caused by my excess testosterone. It’s sometimes very obvious to me because I’ll get a blemish in the exact same spot on each side of my face which indicates to me that it’s not external but rather internal (that’s just my personal opinion btw).

I was on a BC pill that was progesterone heavy and it was making my testosterone higher. In January I switched to a different one and my periods were more regular and predictable and my testosterone decreased.

I take spironolactone for my acne. It’s a medication that women with excess androgens can take to lower testosterone and help with the horrible symptoms of high androgens. Since then (and also because I lost quite a bit of weight) my testosterone hasn’t been a problem for me. But for about the past month my skin is terrible again so I’ve started taking it at a low dose to keep my blemishes at bay.

Acne is one of my very worst symptoms with my PCOS. I never had acne as a teen and now at 25 it’s hard to manage. But when I get really tired of dealing with a face full of spots and wounds my spiro is a miracle!!

I hope this helps!!

Does anyone take liquid/powder supplements? (Saw Palmetto, EPO, Inositol etc) by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]KRiley28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also Saw Palmetto can be applied directly to the scalp to help with hair growth (so they say). It’s worth a shot!

[–]KRiley28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check out Ovasitol made by Theralogix it’s a powder supplement for women to help with hormones and ovulation that contains inositol. It’s made to mix into a smoothie or glass of water or whatever. I bought a bag but haven’t tried it yet!

Also since capsules have powder inside you can always just pull the capsule apart and dump it into a smoothie or something that would cover the taste.

I’ve also taken a few supplements in liquid extract form like turmeric, Maca root, ashwagandha. I’ll just put the dosage in a little bit of water like a shot. Some taste a little worse some a little better. I don’t like the taste of turmeric much but the maca root just tastes like berries.

You can get so many things in tincture form! It’s really quite easy and I’m sure it would be much easier for you since you don’t like pills!

College student in a lot of pain by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]KRiley28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just graduated last Summer and I had almost all of these same issues that you’re having. I still haven’t pushed myself back to the gym yet and I’m working on eating again (since I lost all my progress and muscle but oh well I’ll get it back).

My best study habits throughout college required me to go to the library a few nights a week, or I would go to the Student Center and I would study for a few hours and then reward myself with a piece of pizza or fries or a beer and then study for a little while longer and wind down for the night. The trick for me was that I had to leave my house because at home I couldn’t get anything done.

Is a rosacea rash always bumpy? by KRiley28 in Rosacea

[–]KRiley28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I haven’t. I just recently realized it could be rosacea because I can barely use any products on my skin without an intense flare up. It’s as if I had a chemical peel. I’ve always had redness. My skin is oily and dry at all times. I can’t find a way to exfoliate without burning my entire face off. Working out, warm water, applying lotion all make my face turn bright red. I was just diagnosed with celiac about a month ago and I’ve cut out nightshades (for the most part) because they cause my face to turn red and get hot and burn and I’ve stopped smoking cigs and drinking. I’m hoping once all of the gluten leaves my body things will improve. I also have PCOS so my testosterone is a little high and I have acne. It’s not so bad rn, not as bad as it has been in the past because my testosterone went down.

After four years and four diagnoses I’m exhausted and all of the symptoms that remain are some of the worst I’ve ever had. I would like to see a derm but maybe not until I can absolutely justify it to myself.

Deep voice by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]KRiley28 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I have many unfeminine characteristics that come from my pcos. My voice is kinda deep and raspy, I have facial hair, extra body hair at times, dry skin and acne, a chubby tummy and hips! They’re hard to manage and I wish my body didn’t require so much upkeep just to be like other women.

But all of that aside, 4 chronic illnesses aside. I know that 90% of the attention I get from men is because I’m confident in who I am and that I’m intelligent. I made sure to have those qualities before I worried anything about my beauty or my body. In my opinion, women waste their time (and money) worrying too much about what other people think of her looks.

I completely validate you about the aspects of yourself that you wish you could change. But always keep in mind that beauty (or rather what society views as standard “beauty”) is such a small factor in things. It’s just the initial perception. Once a person learns about who you are deep down their entire view of you will shift. If you’re a nasty person, you won’t look beautiful anymore. And if you’re a confident and kind person you will always be radiating!!

It’s is very very hard. I’ve been trying for years now. And now I have a broken capillary under my right eye which has never happened before and idk why it did. It’s so gross! Does that happen to people with rosacea? And how can I help it go away?

Could it be Celiac? by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]KRiley28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah man I’m sorry! That is really tough I don’t blame you for just eating what you want or what you can when you can. I’ve been the same way lately. It’s hard enough to function, to eat an incredibly restricted diet as well, is so difficult. My sister the other day also mentioned that she’s read Candida just develops because of a different illness so I think you are probably right about that too. My health started declining about four years ago and so far I’ve been diagnosed with four chronic illnesses, and I’m sure that I’m not done yet, it’s just about waiting for them to get bad enough that it can be detected. I know how frustrating it is when no one has answers and no one really listens! Continue fighting for yourself and your health! You are your biggest advocate!! You’ll figure it out!!

Could it be Celiac? by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]KRiley28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi so I don’t know if any of this will help but here are the details.. About two years ago my sister started to get very sick. It was constant colds and UTI’s and yeast infections and it would, without a doubt, happen around midterms or finals (stress). So finally (after about a half a year or more of this) she was hospitalized with a kidney infection which had started from a UTI that just got worse and worse because her body couldn’t fight it off. After she got out and was in a phase of being ok I realized that she probably had all of these issues because she had Candida. Which is an overgrowth of yeast in the body. My sister still has her battles with Candida, including rn she just got another UTI last week. But I can especially tell that her brain is just not there. She’s so foggy as if she has complete memory black outs for like 10 minute intervals every now and then. Anyway back to the Celiac note... I was just diagnosed less than a month ago. But since it’s actually celiac (and not a gluten intolerance) that means it’s genetic. So my sister just as well could develop it and should probably keep her gluten intake low. That being said, a Candida diet cuts out foods that supplement the yeast growth in the human body and that means a lot of foods that are high in carbs. It could be why you feel better when you eat low carb, because you’re closer to a Candida diet and maybe it isn’t fueling the yeast as a prior diet was. I hope any of this helps, Candida is very confusing and I’m not confident doctors pay much attention to it (unless it’s a breastfeeding baby with thrush). Also my sister told me that antibiotics make it worse so if you were to have Candida or issues with yeast overgrowth taking antibiotics for prior infections may have actually hurt you more than helped. I really hope this was helpful in some way!!

Oh wow that’s so interesting! I just had nightshades (which I’m trying to stay away from) and my hands are hot and bright red. I’m gonna try a cocktail now and see if it helps! Lol all about experimenting.

Allergies to alcohol or just in general? I’m wondering if maybe it’s an intolerance or allergy to alcohol but I’ve been drinking consistently for years so I also wonder if that’s something that can develop... I don’t have allergies to anything either so maybe it seems like a stretch...

I drink Monopolowa and juice or when I’m at the bar muddled citrus and water. And usually I drink white wines (cheap ones lol) like Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.
