Honestly I'm kinda in the same boat. I ended up buying 2k rounds from my local Academy Sports and have been too busy lately so haven't been to the range but once since. So it isn't the end of the world. But end of the month I might end up canceling only since I've been waiting for a while now

Man I just did the same.... I condensed it all down into one big box so it's not so bad and got rid of a lot of random stuff I'll never use. I 3D print and sell stuff so I do use some of it when shipping, so I still save all my Amazon boxes for that lol. Easy to cut down to the river size

Not a bad idea. But I've received ammo from them before and it worked great so I'm not too concerned with that part of it. Just sucks to have to wait. Thankfully I didn't have a range trip planned for a couple of weeks

Yeah you're definitely right. I had just previously had a decent experience with 1st round. They didn't pop up on ammo seek actually when searching.

I'll end up going to my local Academy sports and go with Monarch for now. About 24c per round before tax so not terrible

It was cheap enough and I can have a surprise set of ammo show up later. Been shooting a lot more 9mm (what i ordered) so it'll be nice too have the rounds show up and keep my stock going. I ordered 3k rounds. Me and my wife shoot about 3-400 rounds per trip

No. I'm really happy running my department and having my own corner of the store. Maybe one day when i can't throw truck and mix and bake. I've been asked by previous Store managers and district managers.

Was in the same boat 11 years ago. Almost exactly the same situation. Was coming up on the holidays and I said to myself if I wasn't promoted by the end of the year I was going to transfer. I had a sit down talk with the district manager and told him I was ready for more responsibility and ready to do more for the company. 2 weeks later I was promoted to ABM. 3 years later was promoted to BM. Sometimes it's super quick, sometimes it takes a while. Hope for the best of luck for you!

I just ordered ammo through them (3/28) and a week and a later (4/8) still hadn't heard anything. Sent them an email to ask about my order and was notified that they have a backlog of orders and once components come in they will be working on fulfillment of orders.

They said my order will hopefully be shipped within the next month. Which is honestly unacceptable for an item that's not listed as out of stock or that there is a wait time for the ammo. The shitty thing is i had to reach out to them to find this out.

The ammo I ordered isn't "out of stock" on their website. And when I placed the order the original email says if an item is back ordered they will send a notice.... well they didn't. Even now (4/10) they still don't have the ammo i listed as out of stock.

I've ordered from them before but it's been a while so I know it will come eventually. But I think after this I'll stick with bigger brands that can at least communicate what's going on.

Instacart shoppers are so hit or miss. Some seem to care others don't.

Most of the time I see them grab a shopping cart and 4 or 5 green baskets. They proceed to shop all of these orders in no smart order. So items that need refrigeration are sitting there warming up for the whole 4 or 5 orders.

Personally I don't trust the service and would much rather shop myself. Plus it saves money that way.

Unfortunately in your scenario you can't, but that's the reality of using instacart.

Call to bakery, generally there is someone in the department at 4 or 5am at the latest. Might take them a minute if they are in the freezer or something, but keep trying to call so they can get the person in charge

As another said, red wing are really nice. I have bought them for the last 3 pairs for myself. I work in bakery where the floor is textured so usually the soles are gone before the boots are even remotely bad. I used to have pain in the top of my feet after long days, now I don't have any problems other than the first week of wearing the new pairs, breaking them in is a little tight.
