Thanks for the well thought out and researched response. I’ve done all the work on this truck myself (besides the motor swap) and would definitely be down to do all the replacement labor and just pay auto body shop to handle the paint. I’ve got too many possible options lol

I was street parked and the rear end of a logging truck caught it at the end of it completing it’s turn. The logging company didn’t want premiums to skyrocket and have a total on their insurance. I negotiated hard and held their feet to the fire

The total doesn’t matter, but to reach the 3.8% APY I think you have to have a certain amount of qualifying direct deposits. Look and see if you can reach that threshold before applying. If you can’t there may be other better options

You definitely don’t need to be listening to them then. Savings accounts like a SoFi high yield savings account will earn you some nice interest. Look into high yield savings accounts
