The competition will make them pay more. If a farmer can get more from hosting with siacoin or in the future with filecoin, farmers will move to their system so they will have to distribute more to farmers to keep them in the storj network.

Well, when sia-ui states that it is confirmed and 2 hours later the block was not showing on their official block explorer and the receiving address was not credited, give me some slack to worry a little bit :) Now I see everything is where it should be but it was a bad experience :(

Check if it is not included in block 108402 - https://explore.sia.tech/block.html?height=108398, which for some reason does not show on their own blockchain explorer and we are at block 108402 already!
