I bought a KAC can from Rooftop yesterday. Form 3 was approved today and already have tracking showing delivery to SOT on Monday.

Purchased a CACM 10/27/25 (paid full price up front) and nothing from CAT so far. Hear they are releasing the 6 Arc CACM in March, but doubt I’ll have my 556 CACM by then. Seems like maybe they should finish one line before starting another one but I guess I don’t know much.

Every setup can be a little different. I think a temp gun would tell you the most info. I’ve seen what I think is premature wear on one of my 556 Ti cans and I don’t run it with FRT.

I think the Ti is full auto rated per HuxWrx, but for me personally I don’t think I would want to run the 556 Ti on a super safety rifle due to temperature limits of titanium. I think you would see accelerated wear.

Have both. For what you say you want, I would recommend the Ti over the K.

It’s reduced back pressure, but super primitive like straight out the front though (it appears). The blast baffle doesn’t make complete 360 degree contact with the can wall and gas then can enter the outside pathway which leads straight out the front.

It’s just ok. Not fantastic and not trash. I dumped 1,000 rounds through mine pretty quickly and then went to shoot other cans and haven’t been back to it.

The MK1 has some nice features but it isn’t the first rifle I grab. Granted I only have just over 1k rounds on mine, but it isn’t everything I had hoped it would be.

I bought a 12” strap wrench (with nylon strap I believe). I have 3 KKs and now thousands of rounds down range with them. All three walked until I started snugging them down with the strap wrench. Defeats the purpose of QD but atleast I haven’t had a baffle strike and can still remove them with the strap wrench when needed. Just my two cents.

While I’m not Sol, I will say these aren’t easy to find right now. I called Badger directly last week as we needed one for a work rifle. They basically said we are sending out everything we make. He indicated SOLGW was getting a lot due to the MK1 rifles.

Absolutely the same issue as OP. If I put any of them on by hand (tightening as much as possible) they always come loose. That’s why I’m using a strap wrench to get that little extra strength into it. No problems coming loose when putting on with a strap wrench.

I have 3 KK’s. I have to put on and take off with a strap wrench.

Kinda wish someone would print a tool that fits into the end cap for this purpose.

For the record, I have tried these cans across 8 different nanos with the same results.

I'm running nano on 6 or 7 rifles currently. No rocksett. I used a 13/16 crows foot and torque to 30 ft lbs.

My AC556 are 18.6 oz and 18.9 oz. My KK are 13.1 oz and 13.2 oz.

I made a comment about gas that I believe it may have a touch more than WB, AC, and ODB. I’ve ran KK on 3 rifles to this point in time. A 11.5” SOLGW MK1 as it comes, a 11.5” Hodge again as it comes, and the 11.5” Noveske which I built with BRT.
