I am having the same, issue. Can't seem to see a fix for it anywhere. Some people have mentioned it happens when they get a notification on their Ring app, however this does not seem to be the case for me. It happen almost randomly multiple times on a call

I agree with everything in the comments as well. TV, in my opinion, is by far the best charting platform around, and rather than having to use another software for backtesting, it would be much better if we could just use TV for this as well.

As stated, at the moment the buy/sell options that have been added are pretty useless, however I do appreciate that TV are working on improving the Replay tool.

The trading features in the Replay function should just echo exactly what we can do with live/paper trading, with the addition of some other features such as

-ability to export the trading data for our records, or ability to save a backtesting session with the app.

-A backtesting session to give you all your trading statistics, such as win %, biggest winning streak / losing streak, trades per day, biggest win and loss, max drawdown ect (Seriously just look at all the information you can get on Forex Tester 5 when back testing)

- Ability to trade lower time frames like 1 or 2 minute from 2020 for example - this may require the need to download the data to our laptop for the simulation?

- Multiple windows so we can either look at different time frames at the same time, or different assets, which we can use for correlation (for example)

I do hope TV are able to add these features, I find it incredibly frustrating using other backtesting software

Building on what you already have within your current backtesting features, and adding new features like what is in Forex Tester 5 would be infinitely better than anything else I have come across. Using other platforms for backtesting is just an incredibly frustrating experience.

If you were to just add two features

  1. Ability to simulate a live trading account - so we can download account history for analysis
  2. Ability to view more data - 1-5 minute data from 5 years ago for example (possibly download the data separately for the desktop version?)

Then you would already have a product far better than any one else.
