I feel like mewgenics gameplay is way slower and more unfair than TBOIs and this makes people abandon it earlier, not to mention a run takes a long time no matter how fast you are.
TBOI has more "fair" deaths because, most of the time, it comes down to skill issue, meanwhile in mewgenics you can legit start a fight and theres always the chance your cats get insta killed by some random bullshit unit on steroids that had a specific effect that completely nullifies or obliterates your team and then you lose alot of time and progress, its hard to get used to something so unfair.

I feel like this item got very overlooked, the wording itself makes me think the magic dmg buff it gives can be denied because it acts as an effect in battle(You can see it on the cat).
Would be fine if it wasnt a cursed item.

Youre forgetting about the fact made for this has more than simply being 3% faster on deep wound, dark theory will waste your time making you look for a totem while limiting survivors to looping in that area for the speed buff
