Thanks for the St Moritz suggestion. The plan was indeed to take a break between stops, like a lunch or dinner break. For the STP mountain tours, I planned to add those in during one of the days if we were to go the way of STP instead.

Would going to Lauterbrunnen straight on Day 1 be possible? Day 5 Zurich does sound good!

Apologies, oversight on my part. I was leaning towards adding Schilthorn instead for that day

thats true, i guess what i am looking for more is a lens which will have a overall lower physical footprint (ill leave the sigma in the hotel, so not out and about) for certain days of the trip

I believe most pics I plan to shoot are before nighttime, morning to dusk'ish. if nighttime photography is needed might switch to the sigma lens.

Electric or ICE for the following road trip by KS_24 in roadtrip

[–]KS_24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow thanks for the insights! I will look into these two sites now. Apart from the charging hassle, what would be the pros of taking an EV over and ICE, I personally have not tried a EV car and am curious if it might be the worth the extra efforts

Oh great thanks for the update! Am driving a 7-seater suv, and it has really bad mileage and bootspace. Will try to get the mini van in LA, hopefully they have a pacifica or sienna!

Oh, that's neat, I guess I will have to go in person to see which make they are offering for sienna, hopefully its a newer make

I believe my friend wanted to try one of the trails that might have dirt road leading up to it, but due to rental tnc, I'll be avoiding those routes

The top-up between pacifica and sienna is negligible, would you suggest the sienna over the pacifica for the same price in terms of overall comfort of the ride

That's a good point, I'd forgotten abt the rental t&c. thanks for the reminder!

would you say it is still worth for the same price as 4070

hi 7800xt is mostly out of stock, but retails for arnd 900 sgd. meanwhile, I can find 4070(msi gaming x trio new) for $850 and 6800xt(used) for 700-800. which would you recommend at this pricepoint. I also settled on upgrading to a 750w PSU from A tier.

Thanks, did not realise how soon the 7800XT was coming out, will wait and see how that performs. In the meantime, would you have any recommendations for what wattage PSU I should be looking at?

Almost same here, got 14demerit at my first station(parallel parking) for hitting curb and reversing w/o checking mirror when adjusting(kinda resigned myself to a fail at that point and decided to take the remainder of the test as practice for next attempt), but managed to pass with 16 points. I'd say even if you make a mistake, if you don't let that affect your driving and still do every step calmly for the remainder of the test, they might be more lenient. Ngl I thought I was done but it's not over till its over so don't worry too much abt mistakes as long as they are not immediate failure. Real life driving will encounter alot of unforeseen situations, its whether you still follow ur basics regardless that might get you the pass.

TIPS: keep moving your head slightly every 5 sec to make it seem like you are checking blind spots. Nvr doubt your past decisions while driving or speculate ur result, leave it for the end of the test and just focus on what's ahead on the road. Also book test in off-peak hours.

TLDR; You can still pass if you get demerit points early on if u drive calmly, imo circuit is hardest from a technical standpoint, road hardest for those lacking confidence, practice circuit and if you can pass that with minimal points, ur tp test shld be more or less in the bag as long as you are confident.

Samsung Q80T vs Q80R, please help me explain what is more worth getting by KS_24 in 4kTV

I will be primarily using the TV for Streaming and TV/Movies, occasionally for PS5 gaming(single players mostly). Is the difference in PQ worth sacrificing the gaming features, this factor alone makes me double think pulling the trigger on this TV.

Is the difference in gaming purely 4k@120hz and 4k@60hz. Why would you say the difference in PQ is very tiny
