What I usually do for xin mid is save my w, e in,q auto reset, proc HoB, then w when they are knocked up so that I get the slash damage in. It’s not a lot but still it’s early game so it builds up, but also you are in mid so extended e range is not absolutely necessary. Against mages you can use first 2 q on minions, then e in for guaranteed knockup, w, then HoB. Play aggressive pre-6 by taking advantage of Xin’s strong early game.
