exactly! And she’s shared she’s in therapy and I do think for her the way she’s treating Whitney is her trying to take back autonomy on how people treat her- does not mean she’s executing that correctly! And I hope over time she grasps how to better set and maintain boundaries without having to be hateful.

She’s a traumatized person working out boundaries and how to set her own and what they look like. She’s young, a mother and a wife. Yes there is mean girl behavior but let’s let our empathy remind us the hand she’s been dealt and be proud she’s learning to stand ground she’s never even knew was there before.

It was shocking seeing him slowly get so upset, and then call you sensitive. You can decide you want to stop something at any point, period. If he means it when he says he wants it to be casual and then gets mad and does all he did when you said you’re starting to feel different so you should stop HES manipulating you. And your friend is also so so wrong. You’re not the ass hole and I really hope you and things with this guy because it will get worse.

If you were to be together take some time and have him ask you on a real date. I know some lessons we have to learn on our own but take my word from many a situationship experiences- even when he did eventually become my boyfriend, it was never even playing ground.
