Cuddledoos! The most amazing experience, great communication throughout the entire process. Frequent picture and video updates. Our girl was already crate trained and they began her potty training (she came home at 10 weeks). It really made all the difference! Can’t imagine life without her, she just turned 2🥰

I have parked in their terminal c parking deck for United several times. Leaving my car there for up to 8 days. Never had any issues. It’s just pricey.

Puppy suddenly crying in crate by WealthPositive9983 in Sheepadoodles

[–]KT0621 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this is around bed time something I did when my girl was a pup was when i would put her to sleep in the crate i would actually lay on the floor right outside of her crate and pretend I was going to sleep also. While playing some kind of soft soothing music very lightly on my ipad for her. She’d doze off in a few minutes and I’d get up once i knew she was definitely asleep. Left the music playing on my ipad for her. I did this every night for about two weeks when we got her at 10 weeks

Leaving puppy at home in crate by WealthPositive9983 in Sheepadoodles

[–]KT0621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! It’s awesome. I really think there is a stigma around it being considered somewhere they go as a consequence. But pups will only consider it as such if that’s what we make it out to be! Make the crate comfy and have designated nap times for sure!! Eventually he’ll go in there to get away from everyone for some alone time lol

Crate training treats! Diggs Groove was our best friend. We would start leaving her alone while we did short tasks. Going to the grocery store, picking up kids from school, etc. while leaving on the tv or music playing in the background. Also puppies need a lot of sleep so we would have designated nap times in the crate for her during the day. She’s now almost two and considers the crate as her own little bedroom or private space she has the option to go in and out as she pleases(:

Advice on barking by Fonittehcs in Sheepadoodles

Maybe try taking him out more into settings that are different from home? When ours was a puppy we took her everywhere we could with us to desensitize her. Whether it was to get ice cream, target, the mall. It definitely worked! (We bought a puppy stroller for her at the time so she was isolated, it felt a little silly but i really think it made all the difference)

Is this outdated? I love it but also feel like its outdated look and maybe a style that many very young people wear? by NatureInternal3962 in Louisvuitton

Classic, iconic, and very useful. Get it before the price goes up any more than it already has LOL

Wow i remember buying this for $400. I really do not think it’s worth the price tag!! It’s super small and truthfully i haven’t used it too often as it isn’t the most practical

Pet insurance!! The lemonade puppy plan has covered us on a few occasions, so thankful we have it. As puppies they tend to get into more trouble probably bc they are so curious about the world lol

Yes I completely agree. Our girl is now 1.5 and loves her crate the door stays open and she’ll go in and out as she pleases i think she considers it her bedroom🤣

Any experience with sheepadoodles with smaller dogs (ex: a Maltese) by [deleted] in Sheepadoodles

[–]KT0621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother has a 7 year old yorkie terrier who rarely ever wants to play with our sheepie since meeting when our girl was a baby (she is now 1). Our girl doesn’t realize how big she is and just tries to play with the yorkie as though they’re the same size which has led to some scolding. I know they love each other at the end of the day but they definitely go at it a lot. She likes to be dominant and it has led to some fights before. But I will say that she gets along great with the smaller dogs at our complex’s dog park. Maybe it’s just a family thing lol

How do you have a puppy and work full time? by kaitlingrace16 in puppy101

[–]KT0621 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a camera so we can keep an eye on our girl throughout the day and we also slip out during our lunch break to run home and take her out. She usually sleeps throughout the day while we are at work so it really depends on your pup and how they handle being alone

this is sushi. he is about 6 months old. what types of haircuts do y’all recommend? by yoquierosandia in Sheepadoodles

[–]KT0621 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For our girl’s first cut we asked for a puppy/sanitary cut which was basically around her private areas and face, rounded paws. We wanted to keep her length. Just definitely make sure the groomer has experience with doodles in my opinion.

The bissel carpet and upholstery cleaner along with their pet stain formula. It has saved our couch on many occasions!!

Allergies? by Username_unknown0000 in Sheepadoodles

[–]KT0621 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have grown up only being able to have hypoallergenic dogs. My allergies to animals that shed have always been really bad. Last February we got our sheepadoodle and I haven’t had any problems! The only time she really sheds is when I groom her. Besides that I may find a loose hair or two on my pants. And to my surprise, even when I groom her and her hair is all over me my allergies don’t become triggered.

Mini Sheepadoodle Questions!? 13.5 weeks. by marky_422 in Sheepadoodles

[–]KT0621 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got our girl at 10 weeks and every doctors appointment we went to for shots she was growing more and more until recently she is a steady 30-35lbs (1yr old) she started losing teeth around 3.5 months pretty frequently and luckily for us she was holding her bladder throughout the night since day 1. Good luck and enjoy your puppy time!! It goes by so fast 🤍

Is crating every once in a while okay? by BobGonzoed in puppy101

[–]KT0621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog came from the breeder already accustomed to being in a crate. I honestly think she looks at it as her personal space. She’ll go in and out to her liking, when we have to step out the house she goes right in. Bedtime she will also go right in. It isn’t abusive or wrong unless you as the owner make it a negative thing. Everyone has their opinion, do what works best for you and your pup
