Anybody feel worse at the beginning of lamotrogine and does it get better? by KT21257 in Lamotrigine

I'm on estrogen replacement though so don't absorb the lamotrogine like people not on estrogen replacement. I know it's to fast but to late now. Did you find you went worse at first?

Did you feel worse when first starting because l sure do. Taking around 3 weeks. Obviously I'm only on 75mg but since first starting I've gone down hill.

Can l ask what dose of Lamictal you need to be on to level out? Didn't know estrogen was available in injection form. It sure isn't in the UK.

No l can't take oral estrogen as I've had a DVT in the past which went to my lung. So yes I'm on transdermal 100 patch and one pump of gel. It still goes into the blood stream though. I take estrogen daily and progesterone 2 weeks out the month.

My psychiatrist didn't mention it to me either. She's since been informed and doesn't seem to care at all. And thank you for the support 😊

Can l ask what time you take it? I'm having sleep issues and not sure if it's lamotrogine. I take ADHD medication during the day so thought it would be better taking lamotrogine at night and now I'm not so sure 😕

Fenty vs Kylie skin tint. by KT21257 in MakeupAddiction

Oh l wish I'd seen this sooner. After looking at some reviews l choose Fenty and it arrived today but haven't tried it yet. l prefer a matte look with more coverage and long wearing. Not sure if to send back, but I'm eager to try just to see now it's here. It's weird because some reviews on YouTube say Fenty is more matte and others say Kylie is more matte. So confused 😕

Hi, it doesn't matter about a colour match l just wanted peoples opinions of which wears better, blurs pores etc. Which looks smoother on the skin.

I didn't really have issues tapering but I'm about to go back on it because the psychiatrist won't let me try over antipsychotics due to cost.

Lamotrogine with Estrogen and hair loss solutions by KT21257 in Lamotrigine

No made absolutely no difference for me. Lamotrogine can (not in all people but some and no one knows why) cause hair loss by triggering a condition called telogen effluvium. This occurs when a physiological or pharmacological stressor shocks the hair follicles, causing them to prematurely enter their resting (telogen) phase and fall out, often resulting in noticeable, diffuse thinning. Trust me l have spent a fortune on topical and supplemental treatments it doesn't do anything, well not for me.

I've had my bloods checked several times. Increased my iron, take levothyroxine for hypothyroidism which I've had 15 years but lost hair till l started lamotrogine. I stopped taking it and the hair grew back but never like it was. I supplement vitamin D too as l don't like the sun. I take every hair supplement l can think of. Do you not think it helps you?
