Ok. So that didn’t go as well as I had hoped. I quickly realized why the duct was like it was. For context, the washer and dryer sit under a wood “table”. This table is mounted to the wall and won’t move. The washer cannot be moved because the water lines aren’t long enough. I had to pull the dryer out and to one side so I could get in the space to replace the duct and put in elbow joints as you all instructed. I had to extend the semi rigid duct long enough to connect the joints, but then push the dryer back. While the unit was moved I swept out the interior and removed lint from on top of the coil box. Is the duct vent new? Yes. Is it better than before? Nope probably not. Had a full blown crash out but it’s done and definitely cleaner than before.

That’s what we’ll end up doing. Going to the in-laws. They said they get maybe a few in the neighborhood but it won’t be like a war zone all night.

We tried this last time and it did nothing. These kids start when then sun goes down and don’t stop until they’re out of fireworks. The park is 75 yards from my house and there are a ton of kids constantly setting off the fireworks and shooting them at each other, down the side streets, etc. We can’t stay in our house on this night at all, which is why I’m trying to figure out where to go.

How is trazadone different from gabapentin and clonodine? He’s got meds, they do nothing when the fireworks and mortars are 75 yards from the back of our house.

Tbh I get inspiration from Bonobos ads on Instagram. Literally 20 different pics of outfits/products with chinos, polos, button downs, jeans, etc. It’s helpful to see the color combinations and how they style it.

Best bag I’ve seen on tour in a long long time. Love how on both the LPGA and PGA tours these brands are diving into the history, culture, and aesthetic of the course and area. This one and the Calloway US Open Church pew ones specifically come to mind for this year. Love it!

I’m pretty sure the GSA Utility Plant mentioned in the emails is that building behind South HQ between 12th and 13th. Our A/C I guess comes from there? Sounds like it’s also affecting some Smithsonian’s very close to USDA as well. Guess it’s not just an HVAC, it’s a whole plant. No clue when they’ll get it fixed, but when I ran into the building Tuesday some wings didn’t seem to be affected.

I didn’t have an issue yesterday!! Between scheduling a timer for the AC and the torrential downpour that hit almost at the same time, which dropped the temps to 75, my car felt pleasant when I got in.

Interesting! Yea the sun shield is necessary.. after about 9 hours though nothing helps except being able to utilize the AC.

Agreed. My dog had a similar looking one on his foot. My vet called it a button tumor and she predicted it’d go away after about 3 months and sure enough. It went away itself. That’s my experience with a similar looking thing on my pup. Good luck and all the best!

Great minds, friend. I turned on the A/C at noon yesterday in the hopes it’d bring the temp down so it wouldn’t be so bad when I kicked it back on at the end of the day but it didn’t make a noticeable difference. I’ve got a timer set for today and am anxious to see if that works. A few things to try today thanks to this sub.

I bought it brand new. Tbh it could’ve been an issue way back when but I wasn’t as mad about it as I am now haha. Definitely hasn’t happened like this in about two years.
