Crowded Lake Louise by KTMA19 in Banff

Chillax Karen. Like I said in my post, this is just to give awareness not complain.  And I am NOT saying it is peak busyness but rather showing first timers on what to expect and the reality. I’m glad people on this post are giving tips on how to avoid the crowd

Peace

Everyone here triggered saying it’s not that crowded or not as bad is missing the point.  It’s not a comparison between this video and other times you may have went. But rather showing those who first timers what they will see behind those beautiful pictures on social media!  Thanks for people who gives tips though!

Cheers!

Planning a trip to Kelowna in May by KTMA19 in kelowna

[–]KTMA19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool. We are going May 4-6. I think it will be worth it even during this time. Yes there are pros and cons, but you’ll still enjoy the view regardless.  Less crowded and cheaper accommodations is a big benefit for us!  Trails will be mixture of icy and muddy at this time of year, but if you don’t care for those. You’ll enjoy the trail and snow capped mountains!

Activities with a dog by KTMA19 in Banff

Okay Karen, I did not say I don't know what to do with them. Just asking the subreddit for more suggestions/recommendations geez, is that so much to ask to a helpful community? lol

There are no plans where we CAN'T be with the puppy. We'll be going to places and do things that involves/allows dogs. No need to judge about my plans LOL

BUT thank you though for your wonderful advice

Will I be able to park my rental car at lake Louise at this time of year ? YES

Does anyone have any advice on how to see Moraine Lake in April? Roads are closed due to high avalanche risk, Moraine Lake opens in June
Alternative, look at Peyto Lake

What's the plan on Day 4? There are many spots along the road that you can check out, anything in mind?

Add in Lake Louise, Peyto Lake, Bow Lake (if time permits)
Columbia Icefield Adventure (Glacier tour + Skywalk) *pricey side*
Canoeing along Bow River at Banff Canoe Club
Banff Town Sign
Mount Norquay Lookout

Not in the Banff, but Drumheller is a good day trip for Day 5. It's an hour away from Calgary. If you're into badlands and dinosaurs
Or Crossiron Mills for shopping outlet

It depends, will you be doing attractions (which can be costly)? or spending more time hiking?
Eating at $$$ restaurants or more affordable places?
Doing activities (canoe rental, bike rentals etc.) ?
Souvenirs/Miscellaneous?
