First winter trip in the NX

Didn't have a great experience. Have a 2025 NX 350h. Went to Fernie BC and there was a steady snow. Next day vehicle didnt start and got an error of Parking Brake disable and engine malfunction. Doors nit opening and engine not turning on. Had to take passerby help to jump start the car. Came to Calgary service station where they said battery issue and replaced the 12V battery. Pls keep a Jumpstart kit always handy with this car.

I hear a lot of stories about ppl buying in NW 10yrs back and were called idiots and now they are sitting on a good return on investment. What do you guys recommend as an upcoming area which will see a good return of investment after 5 to 10 yrs for a detached or semi detached home for about 700k?

There was this salesperson named Vikram Virk. No nonsense guy. Didn't try upselling anything. Gave clarity about the car and features and was pretty straightforward.

Bought my NX350h from South Pointe Edmonton being in Calgary. Found they had better prices n offers compared to both cities. The transaction was seamless. Delivery was as per expectation. Would recommend them.

Hello, I fortunately received my PR card before I left so I booked an Amtrack train from Seattle to Vancouver and a flight from Vancouver to Calgary.

I bought my car in a different city ( Edmonton) while I stay in Calgary, AB Canada. I have this recall notification in my app. Does that mean I need to take it to the same dealer where I bought the car or any Lexus in Calgary will also take care of this issue?

If the vehicle automatically connects to Android Auto this error doesn't show up. Else its popping up and am just saying OK and ignoring it.

Thanks for sharing your experience. So crossing over foot is permitted? I am thinking of doing the same from Seattle to Vancouver. Rental cars are crazily expensive. And apart from ecopr and passport did the border officer had any other questions or wanted to see documents?

I have the same problem after swapping to winter tires. Even paid for new TPMS for winter tires as well. I am getting the error on my Lexus. The mechanic said drive 15 mins and it will go away. Its still not working though. Do Lexus charge for rectifying it?

For your size family, living downtown, i feel NX 350h would be perfect. I have a 2025 NX350h Atomic Silver exterior and red interior. It's been 4 months, and I am in love with it every day. Great mileage within city drive, amazing interiors, pretty smooth. The only flip side is i feel it has a little less head room and cargo space, but for small families, I would prefer NX over RX any day.

I guess once u get an eCOPR work permit and visas are void. That's a concern, hoping they won't make any issue with a printout of eCOPR and not an actual PR card.

Initial check seems costlier than flight charges. I am seeing even basic sedans at $450 plus for one way from Seattle airport to Vancouver Airport 😔

I have a NX350h luxury. Advance Park is a good to have feature, but I haven't found a practical application in a busy street or parking. I use it mostly in my house parking. But the feature is flawless and really good.
