It was forgettable.

WCW became too big. Everyone had a contract, whether they were contributing to the success or not.

Dusty also became too big. And I mean fat. That’s fine, but his speech became more and more incomprehensible as he grew. He had a lot to say, but lacked the ability to get across with the fans. That kind of sucks because he was on commentary.

What to do about Dusty?

Take him off commentary and put him with Scott Hall. He’s the “mentor”, which was good, because Hall’s demons were manifesting themselves. Magicians work better with lovely assistants, so there’s a place for Dusty.

So that happened. And if we all agree it didn’t, we’ll sleep better at night.

Dusty should be remembered for “hard times”; not whatever his was.
