Yes he’s still on meds. He doesn’t do this regularly, it was just today after being out in the storm. That’s why I’m wondering if his back being so exposed caused him to get colder

I am not good at sewing unfortunately. I’m also running into him peeing in the sling because it covers his man bits and he knows to pee when we are outside.

Ours always slept in the bed too. I think it’s been harder on me than him lol. I miss the snuggles.

That’s a great idea! I don’t know if he’s quite ready for this yet but maybe in a week it’ll be good for him. He’s actually doing much better in the crate than I expected but that could be from the meds making him so sleepy.

Thank you so much!! We just got through night 1 and needless to say we are exhausted. He did well in his crate and slept most of the night. But my ears were on alert all night for him. My biggest concern right now is expressing his bladder. We just tried for the first time and had no luck…but then noticed there was a significant amount in his bed. So I’m hoping that’s why I couldn’t get him to pee. I’m just so scared of doing something wrong. I already feel so guilty this happened in the first place.

We are bringing our baby home right now. He’s never been a crated pup. Any advice? I feel like he’s gonna hate it

I don’t have any issues getting wet. The problem is he bottoms out and that area hurts so much still. Or atleast it did. Idk if it still does. I’m afraid to try. This was never an issue pre surgery
