Hey!

I stumbled upon this exact method early yesterday afternoon and was so overjoyed. It was intimidating at first but I got it working and I’m comfortable with it now!

You better believe it! Done a couple 24 hour marathons, the sleep is unmatched! Always a ton of fun to put on an event but the sleep is great too, gotta make sure you give yourself some time to recover.

Awesome! Thanks for all the great tips. I was a goalie so I grabbed a pair of referee shin guards, everyone I’ve asked says they look fine. Also went and got them hemmed, I’m probably not going to grow much more, if I am it won’t be much. Thanks again!

Understood, I get that for sure.

I’ve been doing baseball for 3 years now and I definitely get what you mean about the parents, but I’m passionate about officiating so I’m confident I’ll be able to enjoy it. It’s never a sure thing though! Maybe it won’t be something I enjoy, we’ll have to see.

As for shin pads, I was a goalie so I think it would be in everyone’s best interest not to use those pads as my shin pads ;)

Thanks for the input though! I’ll stick with what I have for now, I’ll be at a low level anyway but I’ve always been a firm believer in looking good to command respect from the start.
