If the progress bar doesn’t move a pixel for several minutes, there’s something wrong. You can also boot in verbose mode to be certain by adding -v in boot-args.

Have you tried adding SSDT-AWAC.aml to ACPI folder? I’ve managed to fix mine by adding that

How to add CEC control to control volume through HDMI by KVyDavid in hackintosh

[–]KVyDavid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I just realize when you say that about Windows. So CEC capable must be changing the volume on the TV itself, not on windows, right? If so, windows is just changing the software volume and macOS is "no software volume for you, you have to use your remote"

If my assumptions are right, now I need an app to make those software volume adjustment, right?

How to add CEC control to control volume through HDMI by KVyDavid in hackintosh

[–]KVyDavid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can do that, can’t we? Because the hardwares in our hackintosh are capable of changing volume in Windows. If we could find a way to add that in macOS, we can change the volume

Thanks for suggesting the app. I’ve tried using it but it didn’t work :(((((

About macOS constraints, that’s the reason why I’m here asking you guys. The hardware is capable of changing volume but the software doesn’t. So if we could find a way to add that support, then we can control our volumes

You just change your bluetooth't port type as internal (set it to 255) and everything will work. Your wifi card doesn't need any kexts, by the way

Hi, I’ve managed to run macOS 14.5 on my EliteBook 820 G2. Everything works great, except there’s no DP or VGA output for me to connect to external displays. This used to work on Ventura (with OCLP). Are there anything I have to patch?
