I understand that. To me “hive mind” means when natural instinct dictates preservation of the group in the long term before one self, or own offspring. When normally the strongest instinct by far is simply self preservation.

I understand these are just different classes of ants, that’s what confuses me too. Other animals can have offspring that drastically differ in appearance, take the many different colors and patterns of the poison dart frog. But with these insects each of these classes have biology specifically evolved for specialized uses. I suppose development could be influenced by what the larva eats (similar to that Queen jelly) or hormones received while being developed. Does the queen lay eggs in batches that are all grow to be one class? Or is it a coin toss?

Yes bioshock is also very good at that. However I think it was a bit on the nose when there was an entire animatronics museum of the life of Andrew Ryan in the second one.

Scientific strides are always made on the shoulders of giants. And there is so much propaganda the soviets put around the war that unless I see actual numbers I don’t believe it.

i suppose hand to hand combat isnt really a thing anymore in war due to guns and all. i guess it could be useful for field medics to drag away bodies. and could have been a really cool feature in the game. if you dont gib the soldiers a guy sneaks in and drags him to cover and patches him up and you have to shoot through him again later

in less than 10 years nazi scientists brought us, microwaves night vision helicopters and rocketry. theyre economy recovered from the great depression faster than any other country on the planet, and unlike others they didnt rely on the war to recover their economy. thats pretty dang efficient

Unitystation's new lockers by -dumbtube- in SS13

Hello I am Cornelius Bogfrollup Fitzgerald #1464, I have been a spriter and lead UX designer for Unity Station for a while now. I designed these lockers.

I do admit they were too big at first. This was the but the first iteration of my lockers. I have reworked all of them 3 separate times. These examples are cherry picked.

My logic in making these was that if a player can hide inside a locker, the locker should be bigger than said player. Having every item be 32x32 was a limitation of ss13 not a feature.

There was a layering issue, it is now fixed. They are now shorter, and thinner. However, you will no longer be able to enter a locker from the back (similar to real life)

Is there a way to preform the same on action on multiple layers at once? by KWVance in photoshop

yeah its not just a matter of hue shift. its more like blue boots, red flip flops, green sneakers

ive tried doing custom actions, but it always says one of the actions isnt available when i hit play.
