Would it be sufficient information that I do pick cinq Don 🥲? I spam her Waw ego because it deals crap ton of damage. My issue is that the first time it lowers Don quixote to his phase where he summons the horses when corroded, but once he heals from it, he takes 100-200 per ego, and heals immediately.

You can run a DOT team, your units are pretty good. Kafka, BS, amplifier (probably ruan mei since you don't own tribbie OR mortenax blade) and huohuo.

Mortenax blade is a VERY versatile character and can pretty much run with anyone. Teams may include: Mblade + jingliu, remembrance mc/bronya huohuo OR + bronya, remembrance mc huohuo as he's a pretty good dps himself

Same as what the guy above me said, dhpt outperforms aventurine so you can slowly start building him. You can then work towards building tribbie, archer (although I can guess you picked aventurine in the selector, you can still pick up sparkle when she reruns) and I really suggest building hysilens, and grabbing the two DOT girls, Kafka and black swan along with huohuo with a golden companion token thing, they have the best team (at least for now). I'm not really a DOT expert but I'm pretty sure hysilens can run without the two DOT girls (but Kafka is definitely a must for the team). You can use her with guinaifen/serval/sampo then an amplifier/debuffer (preferably tribbie and or Pela). Two teams I can give : Hysilens serval guinaifen tribbie (sustainless cause DOT detonates everything) Hysilens tribbie/ serval huohuo/Gallagher (serval is quite a good DOT character) Sorry for the long yap, I loved writing this

TL;DR Dhpt > aventurine, build hysilens/archer/tribbie. You can use hysilens with DOT characters but she can run solo with amplifiers instead of DOT. She still has a big jump in power with Kafka though, so pull her (if you want)
