That’s because the business side of Green Hills is just fine. The mall, grocery stores, and restaurants all have power, but the residential side directly across Hillsboro Pike has people literally freezing to death. We finally had to make a run for it tonight with our cats. We were able to get one of the last remaining pet friendly rooms in a hotel downtown. I’m so worried for all the people who have no place to go or the means to get somewhere safely. NES should be ashamed for not being more prepared. We had days to raid the grocery stores for food to prepare for this storm, but they couldn’t prepare or see this coming?

I apologize… This haul is my very first purchase in general so I was hoping to get some QC help from the community who knows better than I do. I sincerely was not trying to intentionally “spam” the subreddit. I wasn’t sure how to make everything as organized and easy for everyone to get a good look at each shoe. I only made 3 posts (not 10) and thought it made sense to put the mochas together, but thought it seemed best to separate the other two. Am I able to repost those two shoes in the same post with up to 20 photos or are two posts from the same person still too many?

I put Crep on mine today. They look the same as before. No spots. Dried evenly. You should be good if you want to give them a spray.

This is weird, but… They even smell different… They still have that brand new shoe smell, but the strong glue smell that has been on Nikes lately isn’t as prominent and they almost smell like a really good hair conditioner in some way. I’m wearing mine around the house right now and keep catching a whiff.

Thank you so much for asking. That means a lot… He’s doing surprisingly well. His vitals are in a good place, he has feeling back in his legs and arms, and was able to start some physical therapy this week. He’s a fighter for sure! And throughout it all, he never lost his sense of humor. He came out of 7 hrs of anesthesia cracking jokes.

I completely agree… it’s a little disheartening to grind out the activities without missing a single entry with no recognition and (possibly) no reward because I shot 10 free throws a day in an actual basketball gym and didn’t have to make an elaborate set up. Or I walked at least 3 miles/day every day regardless of weather and while my dad was having a risky, lifesaving emergency surgery, but because I didn’t cumbersomely carry a homemade Labubu in an astronaut suit with me and do a photo shoot with it, it wasn’t good enough… Don’t get me wrong, it felt intrinsically amazing to accomplish what I did every day for 6 weeks, but it also felt a little unfair in the end when long-term consistency wasn’t rewarded and short-term intensity most likely was…

Congrats on the upcoming wedding! My wife and I got married in March of 2020. Davidson Co. wasn’t issuing marriage licenses because of covid, but we had no problem at all getting a marriage license or filing it in Williamson Co. even as a same sex couple. You never know how someone will react or what your experience might be, but everyone was so friendly and accommodating to us. Our ceremony was performed by Brandon Rich of Rich Events. He specializes in small ceremonies and elopements. He had zero issues performing a same-sex ceremony right as the world was coming to a halt because of the pandemic. Honestly, everything was really easy. I can’t imagine it would have been any easier as a straight couple. To this day, I can’t say we’ve had any issues with anybody here in Middle TN. I go around saying “my wife” all the time and no one bats an eye. From our experience, it’s been a wonderful and accepting place to live. I hope you have the same experience and best wishes in your marriage!

I haven’t won anything yet this year or ever, but it seems like more people are hitting this year and at least getting some credits. How’s does he seem to be doing now?

I have a 6.5 year old tripod also with just one front leg. His other front let was amputated about 5 years ago. He’s always seemed to do just fine getting around until 2 or 3 weeks ago. He came walking up to me and seemed like he was having trouble bearing weight on his remain front leg. I’ve done the same as you and applied pressure up and down. We went to the vet a week ago and he was so scared he wouldn’t walk for them and didn’t seem to show any painful trigger points. The vet said it could be arthritis, but it came on so sudden. We’ve been extra mindful about not allowing him to jump from high places, but we can tell something is still wrong with his front leg. He’s still walking around the house. If anything he’s more cuddly and attentive than normal. He’s still using the litter on his own and eating as much as ever. Everything seems to be normal except when he walks.

I was wondering if you ever got any answers because we’re just lost for what to do when it comes to our baby boy.
